Problem lang, I'm not sure if that would be that good to the government. For those who don't know, nag-sige na ug resign ang ilang mga Prime Minister sa Japan ever since Junichiro Koizumi's reign. Heto ang rundown:
1. Junichiro Koizumi - Apr. 26, 2001 - Sep. 26, 2006 (5 years, 5 months)
2. Shinzo Abe - Sep. 26, 2006 - Sep. 26, 2007 (1 year)
3. Yasuo Fukuda - Sep. 26, 2007 - Sep. 24, 2008 (< 1 year)
4. Taro Aso - Sep. 24, 2008 - Sep. 16, 2009 (< 1 year)
5. Yukio Hatoyama - Sep. 18, 2009 - Jun. 8, 2010 (< 9 months)
6. Naoto Kan - Jun. 8, 2010 - present
As you can see, sige na lang ug usab ang ilang mga lider, which is very possible under a parliamentary government. But this may also affect the stability of the government. Though in fairness to Kan, I heard na mas confident ang mga Japanese karon under his reign.
Can this happen in the Philippines? I doubt, partly because presidential government ang naa nato. But if this can happen, I hope na dili sad gyud frequent, kay dili man sad maayo na sige na lang ta ug change. That's why we need to vote for our leaders wisely in elections.
