naa ko point and shoot. hehehehehe. akong friends hilig man photography so more or less naa sad ko background gamay and naka testing sad ko sa mga units nila. pero mga canon and nikon users man. ang ma remember nako na naka testing ko is 7d, 5d mark 2, 1d mark 3 and 4 and nikon d3s.

That's great... so i guess ready naka to spend the whole 500k dat's quite a big amout bro... but if wla prob na nimo... then buy dayon... im suggesting the 7d... hiposa lang sa uban money nimo and under go the learning curve of photography then from there you can choose w/c lenses and accessories will fit your photography style or preference.

i guess you have initially drafted between PENTAX and OLYMPUS maybe due to Lens backward compatibility features of this two brand - Nikon also is capable of mounting their old lenses on their new models but not with Canon...by all means if you have the money and opted the two models listed i prefer you buy the new medium format PENTAX 645D with that budget, this 645D for me would create a stir between Hasselblad or Leicas or Mamiya or Phase One medium format for a very competitive price and is currently creating waves in Japan market today...IMHO ^_^

Some say that a NIKON gadget pair with HOYA Lenses is a deadly combination...but now that HOYA and PENTAX merged so i expect they would introduced a new breed of DSLR from now on and in the future. The only thing it's not practical if your objective is like photo shoot on the go because this baby weights 1.48kg including the battery w/o the lens. I can't imagine bringing this stuff unto the street covering like a sinulog contingent activity hehe not unless you have the stuff to maneuver this thing into a very comfortable fashion... their are pros and cons to consider but overall this baby surely rocks.
