UP and PUP students fought for theirs, they sacrificed their reputation, they may have sacrificed their future. i just hope they did not fight for nothing

Exercise what rights exactly? You don't have a right to resort to violence and intimidation and you certainly don't have the right to demand the tuition you should be paying. Nobody is forcing these students to attend PUP and there are hundreds of other schools to choose from. What is happening to Philippine society? It's becoming so communist and becoming a nation of freeloaders. Everyone seems to think they are entitled to subsidies just because it's their "right".

They should print the names of all these troublemakers so employers can be made aware to avoid these losers. Because we all know that in the future, these will be the union leaders and organizers who will cause companies to collapse and lose profitability. Send these goons to North Korea where they belong.

Maybe only those who can afford are the only ones who can say this out loud in front of a 3rd-world country.

There is always a proper forum to discuss those kinds of things. Resulting to violence, destruction of property, vandalism and chaos is not how decent, educated, intelligent and God fearing people react to these kinds of situations. What if such actions resulted to/will result to death of a fellow activist or maybe a school staff? Blame it to the government or school administrators again? Look at those UP and PUP grads who woke up from hypnosis or mass hallucination, majority are just living a normal life and doesn’t even want to look back at that dark part of their past while others are still fighting the same cause but in a legal and proper manner. Some opportunistic groups are just taking advantage of the energy, idealism and immaturity of our youth to foster their vested interests. Our students are just used by these groups for their personal agenda.
