    OT: pics of my garden.

    I do organic gardening as well, but only to decorate my garden and personal consumption.. like tomatoes and a few herbs&spices.

    Gardening is such a great hobby! It's addicting and very fulfilling.
    happy gardening!

    @paul: it cost me about php10,000 since the pipes are SOO expensive and hard to find. By the way, the cuttings ready?

    @paragus: I sell the nutrients actually since many who want to try hydroponics want to buy it directly and not ship it themselves. I get it shipped from UP los banos and in total it costs php500 for the 500ml bottle. But then, it lasts 1-2months, so it's a really good investment. U mix 25ml of the solution to 10-12L of water. And it takes the plants about 10-15 days to consume all the mixture before u refill again. interested to give it a try?

    I've got a blog about my garden: Hydroponics & Organics in Cebu

    @paragus:

    They are REALLY expensive. I hired local carpenters to negotiate with local hardware stores to order the pipes. One pipe is php400 each. Nya labor cost to make holes in the pipes and cover the ends is php50. So each pipe is about php450. mahallll kau! but i think it's worth the investment. Coz it looks presentable, it's durable and it works.

    @rans: Yeah sure. i usually have visitors on Tues, Thursdays or Saturdays. Usually, mu ari sila and theyll look around and buy a few herbs or lettuces to bring home. Some visitors buy the pipes from me (coz they dont want the trouble of hiring carpenters and ordering the pipes pa) and also the nutrients, seeds,sprouts, etc.

    It's a very very addicting hobby
