as i have understood ky mo depend na para asa nimo ni na purpose...if ur target job would belong to gen. skills interest like vocational/technical ni nature ...so general skills category ka. if for licensure naman na mugawas for higher learning course or equivalent to university courses to take, then Academic ka na type because of the scope sa test kung asa ka dapit i-test. dont get me wrong, di related of any kind ang specialty sa field ha ang i-test. that is nothing to do with the test at all.

How about self-study? I personally think you don't need to enroll in review classes for IELTS. Mahalan ko sa review centers. I simply bought a book/reviewer, used it for two weeks and passed the exam with flying colors in one pass.
