up lang ta ani guys..
it would be a big help if we can bring back our monthly donations for our outreach programs in Cebu.. even as little as $5 every month could go a long way..
Eys.. yup same here. Huwat pa ko next week kay bagtik pa.
friends,
charmz and i went to velez this afternoon and learned that:
*the hospital does not receive donations (whether cash or goods) straight from donors; everything must course through DSWD
*one has to get permission from the hospital director to see the twins
as the director was not around when we were there, we were not able to visit the twins personally. i was able to talk on the phone with their attending physician though and was adviced to coordinate with the DSWD personnel in charge of the tiwns for whatever fund-raising activities or personal donations.
@ma'am galadriel
i believe you are in close contact with the DSWD in charge. may we know if we can give donations in kind? if we can, kindly inform us all here of the specifics like the milk brand, diaper size, preferred toys, etc. And if there are cash donations, who would be the DSWD contact person to look for?
thanks!
Ms. Beau
You can directly get in touch with them, the person in-charge is Ms.Leah Colis. thanks for visiting them.Ms. Colis can give you the details you need.
Merry Christmas!

Si Miz Colis.... ano man contact number nya? Kana bitaw cannot give money...hatag na lang in kind jud... sana meron ako kilalalang surgeon willing to volunteer... hahayyy....
Thanks Ms. Beau and Charmz. I think this is a government case. I hope they will take care of these two kids and should be a priority for the local government. I hope they will also find qualified doctors who will avail of their services for free.
Mai,
DSWD has been supporting the twins for almost a year now and help from any private sector will be highly appreciated. Aside from the twins they have to allocate their budget to their other programs (home for the babies, home for the girls, home for the boys, etc.). They are doing their best to give what they can to the twins.
