got a new dane puppy. 3 mos. old.. bag.o ra namo napalit, and........
we love her so much!
problema lang.. dili siya mukaon. . we tried dog food. dili siya.
gipalitan namu ug corned beef with rice.. dili gihapon.
amo nalang gipa.inom ug bear brand. inom sad intawn siya.
i'm getting worried. any dane owners out there? help!!!!!!!

in addition to my post, is it ok to feed a 3 mos. old great dane sardines? as previously posted, dili jud mukaon among dane puppy. we tried dog food, table food (corned beef n rice) but dili jud. we gave her sardines and rice.. hala nikaon man. is it ok?
pardon my ignorance bros and sis,.. its our first time to own a GD. di pa jud kaau mi kahibaw. i tried to research on the net as best i can how to properly care for our new baby. hehe

feeding great dane is hard. i remembered taking tiny my great dane home for the first time. it took me 2 days for her to eat. Originally Posted by mrs.caulfield

ok it is very important to put food on her for now if she eats sardines then do that just try to remove the bones. when your puppy is strong enough that is when you gradually change her diet. lets admit that sardines and rice is not a complete food. and you may end up starving the pup in the long run.
what i do is i buy "sawdust" meat and bone scraps left in meat shop. for every kilo that you buy add 1 beef cube to 1 liter of water, you cook it. give her 300 grams of that to 100 grams rice to 100 grams dog food. divide it in 2 servings. if she wants more give her more. my dane now eats a total of 800 to 1 kilo of that mixture a day.
this is tiny my 6 month old Dane. she loves the sofa.

@tonioyantao: thanks for sharing those tips sir. i will let my bf read ur post nya para masunod namo. we both own the dog man gud. maau gani imong dane sir coz after 2 days nikaon na. now it's been 4 days, wala gihapon. we're force feeding her naman gani. pero iya ra sad i-vomit ang food.

hopefully when she gets well.
