it's a cycle. it goes back to being brainwashed. they choose to do it because they're brainwashed into thinking ALLAH will save their ass in heaven. which obviously, contradicts what the Quran and islam is all about.

nah, the cycle begins when SOMEONE influences/abuses one's choice with whatever means.(usually HOLY means, nobody can beat god talks with these type of crap)

factor in one's ability/mental capacity to undermine such CHOICE. they use KIDS for suicide bombings now. easy target compared to an indoctrinated devotee that needs RE-wiring.

right, and the cycle as you've said it, begins with a choice by someone who abuses it. to break it, use awareness which is also a choice of beingness

sis, i wouldn't blame the church too much. people, whatever the environment or conditioning, make their own paths by choice. if, as you say, people are automated by the church, it is because the people choose the path of least resistance. just an observation

Its just that the ability to be aware of automation or brainwashing differs in degree from individual to another, when the brainwashing occurs early on during childhood, & the poor brainwashed child is also a product of a brainwashed parents, playing with brainwashed children, watching movies design for brainwashing, attending schools that does not teaches real education but giving diploma in exchange of tuition fee.

It would be the most difficult thing to do, to emancipate oneself from false belief system since it has very well rooted na kumbaga, di naman impossible, but it will take a drastic crisis for one to finally wake up from such a dilluded state.

true, sis, it is very difficult to emancipate oneself from any belief system when the conditioning is very strong. but i'd like to think, sooner or later, we will heed the call of our soul. to not do so would mean a lifetime of misery. if reincarnation is true, i think no soul would choose to live hundreds of lifetimes in abject misery. which is why, i think, now, in most parts of the world, slavery is abhorred when centuries before it was an accepted practice. people will find a better way to live. which brings us back to the topic. a new world order is possible if people en masse would choose to evolve in consciousness. imo
