stock mt2, ch5, & rv3 is my setup bro, plugged into a marshall 15cdr. what's your rig? can you handle rhythm gits bro? & do you know somebody who can handle drums aka mick brown? rare indeed bro, haven't you noticed we are the only ones keeping this thread alive? hehe.

after the breakup, dokken's lead singer formed his own band named after himself -don dokken. its debut, & only, album - up from the ashes, featured ex-europe axeman john norum drawing much from lynch's playing style. crash n burn, 1000 miles, stay...

by the way bro, what batch are you in college?...

got here also stock mt2, ds2, ch1 and back up overdrive DBM digitech thru marshall 30 watt mgseries. yes i can do rhythm as long as u teach me little coz i know ur good hehe. lightning strikes again...wel find a clone wild mick brown or tommy lee perhaps.. got a friend also a member here & into this kind of glam bands & wel just wait for him to speak up..
way back in early years, nakahowam ko lynch mob pero wala kaayo ko naka adopt ila music.. by the way irregular ako college background. i started college 1991 medyo guwang na pero because of music, everything considered timeless..u mentioned earlier u got some strat like esp lynch pero baligya, sayang to.. what guitar ur using now?

hehe, you know, i think we oughta start a new thread & call it "wanna form a clone dokken band".

i have two main guitars now : a yamaha sg800, which i modified (ripped off the orig stop tailpiece & planted a floyd rose; replaced the orig neck & bridge humbuckers with dimarzio paf pros), & an ibanez with floyd rose trem (US made) that was given to me by a foreigner friend after seeing me play lynch. got some other gears lying around that i'd noodle around with from time to time, but i'll save talk of them for later.

geez, man!!! i'm very much your senior!!! i wonder if our common dokken interest could bridge the gap.

trivia : dokken's bassist jeff pilson landed a movie role as jorgen, the steel dragon band bassist in the 2001 movie "rock star" which starred mark wahlberg...

cool guitars u got.. i used to have an ibanez floyd rose pero nahalin years ago.. i found it hard to place strings unlike tune o matic bridge-type guitars...i think looking for members for clone dokken group is kinda hard but wel see. we are the only ones active in this thread. our common dokken interest can bridge gaps, lets just add some ratt on it heheh. i thought the movie rock star was more about brett michaels, i never saw that film anyway. maybe u had seen nightmare on elm street..dream warriors was soundtrack.."dont wanna dream no more.." bro do u have the video for beast from the east japan concert? i wonder if theres a copy on it, never had idea whats goin on in that concert..youtube is sometimes bitin kaayo.. just PM your details

it was the 2004 rock star that was about brett michaels bro, it was in the 2001 rock star movie, that starred mark wahlberg, that jeff pilson featured in... pilson was a real pro bassist, during dokken's breakup, when lynch was with his mob, & don did his solo stint, he sidelined in many metal bands circulating in the l.a. club scene, & even got hired as low end axeman & co-writer by ronnie james dio for 3 albums: strange highways, angry machines, & master of the moon...

it was thru cliff burnstein's (dokken's promoter/manager) hollywood connections that landed dokken the nightmare on elm street contract, thus the song, "dream warriors", which enjoyed enough airplay on mtv headbangers ball to propel the band's name to household staple status then...

i may be a dokken fanatic bro, but i do like a lot of other bands from that era... & yes, i dig ratt. i idolized warren demartini before lynch. sure! let's play them too...& by the rope...you will hang...it's your neck...for this ratt gang...hehe...the tandem gits of warren demartini & robbin crosby(may god rest his soul) made for the ultimate ratt stew...(& who can ever forget juan croucier's carnal indiscretions, hehe)...

yah, i do have a copy of dokken's beast ft east concert somewhere, but the quality is too crappy to brag about, i still have to look for it though, as i can't quite recall where i put it...hehe...let you know when i find it...

trivia : tawny kitaen, the model feaured in ratt's out of the cellar album cover, starred in her 1 & only film "gwendolyn", an erotic adventure epic. she was linked at 1 time with ratt's skin basher extraordinaire, bobby blotzer...

i got no news on robbin crosby lately, accident or overdose? i like his style playing with warren dimartini.."dance dance dance feel the heat of the rhythm feel the beat of my hand...drive me crazy..the woman in the album invasion of your privacy, same woman in the cover out of the cellar? just finished playing these two glam albums here.. during high school, my tapes were motley crue, ratt and dokken.. not to discount my judas priest, twisted sister, acdc, winger, slaughter, skidrow, bon jovi, poison, van halen & more...got many albums for each group. robinson or rustans or primrose pa ko palit.. remember the dolby NR, 45 pesos ang tape unya lupigon lang sa BASF types of tape mas mahal 60 pesos ang osa. actually dokken was introduced to me by an older dude from high school, during that era the style almost sound the same. speed was always a factor. for me van halen top them all. until now i still listen to these bands but not the tapes anymore kay nawala ang oban. hope u will find your videos bro coz wala pako kita ani nila except sa video hot tracks sa una.. probinsya man gud ko nag dako medyo awahi mi sa nahitabo or latest hits...
trivia: watch the 1991 pointbreak movie stars keanu reeves.. ratt soundtrack-nobody rides for free

aids bro!!! crosby was a pro gun slinger, if you know what i mean...hehe... melissa cutridge was the model for the invasion, miss teen boston...whoa bro!!! i'm beginning to feel more at ease with you, we practically listen to the very same crop of bands sprouting around the 80s...you left out on maiden, gnr, shotgun messiah, krokus, scorpions, blue murder, whitesnake, white lion, leppard, megadeth, metallica, joe satch, vai, msg, to mention a few more....hehe... you're my kinda guy bro!...

i started out with led zep, rainbow, deep purple... but i should say my very first idol was evh...i practically lived & breathed evh back then...during my college days, my co-rockers called me van halen, as i played nothing but vh songs... you name it, i played it...hot for teacher, running wtd, icecream man, best part of a man, eruption, mean streets, pretty woman, cathedral...i even had my very first git- a fender strat, painted with evh's trademark frankenstein artwork, but mine was black with white stripes...you may not believe it, but i have my photos to prove it...

primrose bro, yes of course, was there too...hehe...

i have many rock/metal concerts /video collections here bro...it was just that dokken beast ft east vid that i misplaced, i didn't really care for it as it was so damn poor quality...

yes, i did see that surf movie...swayze, reeves, undercover fbi. . .nobody rides for free - though performed by ratt, was written by studio artist steve caton in an ost deal between atlantic & time-warner...

trivia : george lynch & don dokken (played gits too) used to jam with warren demartini & robbin crosby in juan croucier's parents' garage in encino, ca. this was before any of them hit big record deals with dokken & ratt respectively...ratt's mtv hit round & round originated as a jam track they played too often enough to irk mom croucier who yelled, " why do you always have to play that 'round & round!'", thus the title...

aids diay namatyan robin crosby daghan groupies at that time..how bout that eddie murphy movie golden child, ratt body talk man to ang mtv when eddie murphy attacked the bad guys..i also listen to scorpions love at first sting album. rock you like a hurricane, bad boys running wild, big city nights were radio-friendly.. and of course van halen. their 1978 debut album was also on my cassette player. .atomic punk, jamies cryin, feel your love, little dreamer were the songs that i keep on dreaming nga ma sepra unta but until now wala gyod. i know sepra ni nimo, pls teach me man hehe. and this white lion pride album is also cool. vito bratta got the chops pero mora man evh style. krokus headhunter and change of adress utro sad pirmi tukar diri. this swiss band rocks man. trivia: the singer of krokus almost nailed it when acdc bon scott needs to be replaced but brian johnson got the audition. also got plenty of acdc albums here. cant wait to see your evh or dokken guitars there. if you have any glam bands video, just hand them over to me. and this group def leppard..man they got the ball.. hysteria album reminds me a lot of high school. but when steve clark died medyo osab sila. sounds like hinay naman just check the adrenalize album... lets get heavier, of course megadeth and metallica always present on my playlist.. rust in peace, so far so good so what, and justice for all, kill em all, master of puppetts..all of which robinson or rustans napalit. primrose panahon nato sa early 90s group like firehouse, slaughter, skidrow.. got here music magazine named guitar one features george lynch album furious george..sounds like a solo album.. what i like bout dokken is every member dongan kanta every chorus but if u listen closely to the lyrics its all about..what else..love. ive read in the magazine that almost all these glam hair bands play same guitars, have same producers or even amplifiers they use. bands were interchangeable. almost forgot this poison cc deville. look what the cat dragged in. i thought these members were women. grabeh hairstyle. just check their early videos..flesh and blood was such an ibanez-sound album. ride the wind, life loves a tragedy, valley of lost soul..sa una kon tape 5 songs ra each side unya play gyod pirmi para dili magpilit ang tape..

i wasn't able to catch that eddie murphy golden child movie...yah, i remember how i waited for that scorpions rock you like a hurricane video to come out on tv, & when it did, it never failed to give thrills running up & down my spine & goosebumps too...boy that solo is just perfect, it builds & builds & just climaxes...kaboom...

i forgot to mention sabbath was an early favorite & influence of mine, both ozzy & ronnie james are irreputable rock icons...i followed rj dio from sabbath to dio...no one could ever mistake dio's voice from any of the cheesey copies who followed after him...vivian campbell outdid himself in handling main axeman duties (with his trademark raw & chunky stacato bursts) with dio, breaking new heavy metal ground with the phenomenal debut album 'holy diver', & the equally brutal 'the last in line' follow-up album...

how i liked the white lion videos for wait & tell me, & obviously because i liked them, i seprad them... hehe...bratta was a very obvious evh worshiper, what with his looks & playing style (lots of HOs & Pos)... mike tramp - great voice man!!!

yah i heard about krokus' mark storace almost hitting the jackpot with ac/dc wen they were looking for a singer with a voice as close to being bon scott's after mr. scott most unfortunately drowned in his own vomit (literally speaking)...poor fella...

shook me all night long is the song that best defines ac/dc... i remember now, my very 1st guitar was a red gibson sg with that useless tremolo, much like angus' main guitar...i don't have my evh frankenstein strat & that sunburst tiger lynch strat anymore, like i said...i sold both...all i've left are pics of me with those 2 babies...i'll show you my scrapbook of sentimetal memories, hehe...

i got that 'furious george' album...very frustratingly, it isn't at all furious...just a compilation of covers of old songs that lynch considers to be his early influences...including unknown pop tunes...yeech...

trivia : ex-dio guitarist vivian campbell is currently with the band def leppard...
tony iomi-sabbath co-founder, composer, band leader, lead guitarist lost the 1st segment of his right ring finger in an accident while working in a machine shop before he formed sabbath. yet this didn't stop the left-handed axeman from becoming the lead guitarist of a premiere rock band ( he improvised an artificial stub for his lost finger & kept right on rockin'....
