brad, ask lang ko sa mga nag-sugod na sa stocks ha... If ever ako nang ibaligya akong shares. Dali ra ba na cya ibaligya? or wait paka ug pila ka days for approval or something?
who knows a stockbroker who has an office in cebu?

Hi, I have an account with ATR Kim Eng. I am happy with their service plus their e-newsletters that they send you everyday really gives you good information to help you make good trade decisions. My only issue is that their commission rate is quite high. I pay around P115 per trade, roughly upwards of 1% of your trade value.
My suggestion is you go with an online broker. I've been hearing a lot of good things about Philstocks. Their biggest plus is that their trading commission is only 1/4 of 1% and you only need P5,000 to open an account with them and start trading. I suggest you guys check it out.
I'm very happy with my online broker now. CitisecOnline - Philippines Online Stockbroker ( Philippines Online Trading ) their rates are low, same as Philstocks , and their website has very good advanced charting features. the only downside probably is you need P25,000 to open an account with them.
If I was just starting, I'd go with Welcome to Philstocks.ph Homepage
Hope that helps guys.
i just opened a citisec account some time last week. i enrolled thru their easy investment program(more like peso cost averaging)..initial funding is only 5k..i suggest that either you open a bpi/bdo acct and enroll the acct of citisec as third party(transfer to acct);so you need not pay for extra costs in depositing for your acct thru citisec..bdo charges 50 for deposits to accts outside cebu.. i traded this week but it wasnt matched..so im hoping next week to finally buy shares..
Very informative ni na thread da.
I hope maka try ko ani.
