OT: Redhat gyud ang inyong distro? Why not using Ubuntu linux 6.06? Dili mn gud hasol ang pg-install og software sa ubuntu. Hasolan gyud ko sa Redhat.

Redhat lage preferred sa amu client.. k ra ba himuon apps server ang ubunto? newbie man gud kau ko aning mga linux platforms..

yup. Pwede na siya. Nya mas nindot ang ubuntu 6.06. Pero wala mn gud ko'y idea about sa inyong project so ikaw nalang ang bahala. Since ang ubuntu is a debian base, naa siya'y gitawag nga REPOSITORY
. Since eclipse is supported by ubuntu. Click lang ka sa programming the check eclipse. Click sa apply then ubuntu will install eclipse IDE for you.

BTW mao ni siya ang server edition sa ubuntu.

Propose lng na sa client ninyo. Basin diay pwede. Basta sa ako dali ra gyud ni kaau. :mrgreen:

- ako prob is, if ang apps server ug ang database resides in a same linux (redhat) box, di mu dagan f mu-access ko
- but f and apps server is naa sa windows then ang database lang ang naa sa linux mudagan sya..

im using websphere ( community edition ) as my apps server and db2 as the database...
