while it is unfortunate that we'd have to go the extra mile to pursue our rights, we have to show these people that we are fully aware of our rights

now, for my dummy question.... for example there's a watermark in the picture, how can you remove this? or can this be removed using any software? because it will be done then forget what I said, let's move on and vote who would facilitate the next monthly contest...

    I nominate radiostar, any takers?
I totally agree with you! not taking the monthly contest seriously is not progressive and contradicts some of the posts that they DO take the contest seriously. And, two points for you! If someone was able to ask this now, somebody else will again in the future. We are better if we address the issues concerning it NOW that there are still no problems around it rather than wait for bad things to happen before we act on it!

how bout you take the lead sir and man the January photo contest? It would be a good experience! That is, if you're not so busy.

Actually, for months, the copyright issue was not tackled since it was all based on trust. Everybody who participated in this thread knew how to respect the work of others and trusted that it was not to be used otherwise. To say that not to take this monthly photo contest is taking one step forward and two steps back is a false statement. On what instance is this photo contest taking a step backward if not taken seriously? What's making this thread step backwards are small issues that are taken too seriously.

The Intellectual Property Code issue is redundant as it is. Other forums have discussed it, this forum has discussed it and still not everyone understands it. If you truly want to understand the copyright law, ask a lawyer who is fully capable of telling you in layman's terms about the copyright law.

No question is too dumb to be answered, i don't think there is a software that can remove watermarks. unless, the culprit clones out the watermark using PS.
