This is the only site that deletes this topic probably because this site doesn't want to be a staging ground for anonymous accusations. Present your proof... or better yet, file a case. You claim to hold post-dated checks that bounced.. that is an undeniable proof. Why aren't you filing a case in court? Do you have a written and signed agreement?... again, show us something or this goes to the bin.

This is not a trial by publicity if that is what you call it. What valid proof are you talking about, that you are threating to delete the topic?

By the way this is the only forum where topic about this scam was deleted in the past and will be deleted again in the next 24 hours.

@jonz: the copy of the ID is definitely valid. Yes it is already an old ID, the six (6) digit ID # was used during 1997, when Angel enrolled on her 1st year. FYI, this ID was provided by Angel Labay herself as proof to her investors when the transaction was made a couple of months ago.

Bro, I know her username here in istorya, I still have her pm telling me the link as a proof of the testimonies of her offer which is the one you posted. But dili man klaro imo accusations bro. Post more details daw about sa scam niya para makasabot sad mi mga istoryans. Wala pasad nuon nako nabasa ug ayo imo mga gi post kay ang isa ka link dili man namo ma view.

Thanks to this thread, it gives warning to others to be vigilant in entering this kind of transactions. Although personally, the site or the thread is not the venue to discuss these topics since there's no proof. However, if the victims would file a court case then I believe this thread would be of essence for the others. Until such time happens, rules will be rules.

I know angel personally. She was my batch mate sa Chemical Engineering sa San Carlos and was in my circle of friends. She actually called me a number of months ago and tried to get me into her "business". Had no cash at that time so i did not join in. I also know of two people in our circle that joined in and are currently looking for her and is working to get a case filed in the court. But being angel's friend they want as much as possible to settle this thing out of court.

Just a thought. Since istorya.net was used as a avenue for recruitment for the said business. It should be also istorya.net responsibility to warn members of such activities to protect them from these types of "scams".

kobmat, warning is different from "making allegations". There are tons of info available on the internet or even within the forums that would have helped prevent people from getting scammed. Given the notoriety of these "high yield" investments, it amazes me that people still fall for it. I am pretty sure the "investors" were aware of the risks involved so I really don't see any reason why they would complain. Always remember, scammers won't exist if there are no willing victims. Bottom line is, people should learn from the mistakes of others and control their greed... and I don't think this particular incident happened here so spare us... even if it did, we're off of it.

I feel sorry for their loss... I hope people would start learning from this.

Well enough said, it is your site anyway. You have decided already in the first place and no amount of proof would make you at least listen to the said crime even if you asked for such proof, and even if it will be ever presented to you.

Nobody is dragging you with it, why act so defensive. If you feel and think you are that wise and you would never be a victim now or in the future, then go ahead feel free to delete the threads, it is your site anyway and we don't need your sympathy. We just felt and wanted others to know so that they may be aware and not be a victim in the future with these people.

PMT deviL, if you read my post it was a direct response to kobmat's post. I am only saying it as it is in response to that post.

You were given a timeline to substantiate your allegation and it still stands. Don't take me out of context. I agree that others must know but from where we stand we also need to know... and for us, knowing means seeing. Without proof, we can't see it. Forgive me for being blunt. It was in no way intended to demean people.. that's just a sad fact of life.

@BeoR - I see the point. I was merely expressing concern for others. I apologize if you have taken my post out of context. I'm NOT saying that istorya.net is directly involved with it. But the site being a lively community, it can always attract scammers. Just airing out a thought in hopes we can have something permanent that would warn members. I posted that message with the best of intentions.

@PMT deviL - I agree with BeoR on this one. Even though i know the story from my countless chats with my friends still you would need to substantiate the claim here. Post your proof. The moderators are giving you the chance to. Whats holding you from posting your proof?
