good move by okc, they obviously couldn't afford harden anymore after signing big contracts for ibaka, westbrook and durant. might as well get something in return for him...

For that matter, James Harden is indeed traded to Houston but OKC retains the rights to his famous beard. And, no, he should not take his beard him. lol

James Harden needs that big contract badly because the flopping rules & fines might drain his money in the bank rapidly.

    Joke lang... lol

OT: Speaking of rights , OKC Thunder still owns the moniker "Supersonics" and its team records . So if Seattle gets an NBA team again and wants to name it SUPERSONICS , they would have to arrange a deal with Clay Bennett inorder to legally use the moniker , logos , team records , recognize their past players , and etc .

Harden is a better player but Martin is the better scorer. Let's see if Martin comes back to his Sacramento form who can put the lights out with 25 plus points and help Durant and Westbrook the scoring load.

what a bad move lol. OKC has probably screwed themselves out of the Championship race. and even by some miracle they do make it to the Finals, Lebron and the Heat will sh*t on them hard.

but Harden should have taken the offer. 55 million + a chance at a Championship, that's pretty good. and winning it with your friends is even sweeter. but I guess he wants to be the main man. too bad he's just going to be the Chris Tucker to Lin's Jackie Chan.

i don't like this trade for the rockets simply because j.lamb is in it. nice move by the thunder! GM presti is really a wise man. getting two scorers, 1 is a proven veteran while the other 1 is soon-to-be scorer.. sayanga jud ni j.lamb for the rockets.. lain unta to gi-apil sa trade... tsk tsk tsk

For me it's an even trade for both teams . I don't pay attention to "grade the trade"-bs because the trade wasn't about for the sake of fun trade . It's just a weird timing for trading Harden and now media are stirring a story of how this could affect their championship run . Rockets on the other hand , desperately wanted to sign a SUPERSTAR last summer . They failed on acquiring Howard or D-Will but ended-up having Lin instead . But now , they have Harden too . They are stacked with young talent .

If OKC decided to trade Harden on the trade deadline , I'm sure they will get low-ball offers . It's somewhat a GAME THEORY . This trade is the best trade the OKC could have . Harden is at his highest value . I'm sure OKC wanted to keep Harden but for the new CBA , it's tougher to keep talent together .
