Imagine all that hard work and early optimism wasted. The film made only P415,384 and because it grossed so little, many movie theaters around the nation stopped showing the film!

Some might consider Deep Gold's failure a black eye for Cebu's entertainment industry.

Obviously the producers are responsible for it.

I only wish Bigfoot would someday come up with much better films...films worthy of showing here and abroad, worthy of praise from critics, etc.
