I personally had the breeding of the res as a stepping stone and a benchmark for the breeding of much more endangered species like the Leyte pond turtles which are in dire need of help. But since i cant risk experimenting on the endangered ones, i rather used the prolific and opportunistic species like the RES.

hello heycroc, you mentioned leyte pond turtle (Panayanemys leytensis), diba near extinction naman ni sila?naa ka ani?sa'ko nahibaloan kay protected species na ni sila and extremely rare ra ni sila makit-an sa wild..pwede diay ta mag-breed sad ani?ask lang sad ko kay luoy na ni kaayo na species..maayo nang managhan balik.

pwede diay ta mag-breed ani pero we need to register the turtles and get licenses from the government..unsaon man ni nato pag-buhat?

where ta kakita aning leyte pond turtle?
i've read man jud na pwede ta mo-keep ani basta naa ta permit from the gov.
these turtles need our help kay endangered naman siguro ni sila..they would benifit much from us if we help them breed.. thanks..
