I came across with an interesting site from msn.
MSN Careers - 20 Big-Salary Jobs, No Degree Required - Career Advice Article
Do you think programmers can earn bigger?
99percent hardwork 1 percent luck....and youre done.
I think it doesnt matter if you finish or not.thats my opinion
grades are not the bases in applying a job. It's your skills gyud.Do you think that those person, who get good grade are the fast learner students,They rely on cheating just to pretend that they are wizard in that certain program ug para na dagko grado..You can learn it man sad outside sa school .
I have the same opinion with "rastaman81" and "istoryansucks". It's just a piece of paper attainable by cheating. It must be SKILLS OVER PAPER NOT PAPER OVER SKILLS, unless the intention of the hiring company is only for marketing purposes to convince everyone that they have all the great stuff because it was made by a newbie with a degree. I am not surprise why there are still plenty of buggy software out there. LOL!
It doesn't guarantee,If you are a college graduate of Information Technology that you have an assurance that you will be hired.Daghan college graduate dli kamao mo program bisag simple lang because of cheating.
splendid! this why i have a big NO NO for PAPER OVER SKILLS but rather SKILLS OVER PAPER.
OT:
this is not a discouragement of finishing college, instead, the subtext of my previous statement is to finished college with dignity. skilled people are too agile to noticed if you're one of them or not. going straight in college could be jarring but it's more worthy than cheating.
I'm not discouraging this students to stop dreaming. I knew what is the role of investing education for future dignity of this people.Bitaw bro lets accept this in the reality na most of the company would hire the experience people not the fresh graduate.
exactly bro! there's a big change in hiring criteria happening in most companies especially in IT industry. obviously, we are on the maelstrom of global economic crisis and we need people just like RAMBO that can do the job effectively with lesser effort and with lesser supervision.
i even encountered a new graduate that can't give me the different types of comments. LOL!
