reason: boss doesn't keep his promise to us we even have a contract and said bonuses with salary increase for every after 1yr. and then mag 3yrs. mi hapit sa servisyo, but ASA MAN ANG GIINGON SALARY INCREASE AND BONUSES? and he replied "Sorry, just take it or leave it?!" damn cheap chinese!

ending: gipirate mi sa laing company w/ gud package SUYA SILA! wahahahahhaa sibat dayon! mao gud pangita sa abroad!. GATOO SIYA'G SIYA RY COMPANY? pwe! I spit on your face u TARD BOSS.

mao jud ng istoryaha! "d mouminto ang sweldo ug d mobalhin."

Never tried AWOL but the closest I got was this interesting experience.

Boss always had comments about my work, mostly negative... actually almost always negative, regardless of actual performance. I made and printed an entire annual company report that would take four (4) people 2 weeks to finish and the comment I'd get - "Why is the bond paper too pale?", "Are these folders new? they look faded", "Yes,yes that's not important right now, get started on the (other thing) - takes my report enters her name on it and blah blah blah to be submitted to higher up. This is just one among others.

Then she made a mistake and ordered me to fix it... called me in the middle of the night (10 in the evening) via cellphone after I got home from work and told me I should fix it, literally said her work was more important than mine and I should handle the "Smaller things... or everything she considered small - like filling the quota... for the whole department! " - I quit on the spot and submitted my resignation first thing in the morning.

I got a two week paid vacation and one month's salary (That is not given to resignations).... I was pleasantly surprised and when this actually happened I think it had something to do about the talk I had with the head of HR and my Boss and the subtle hints they gave about omitting the real reason for my "resignation" and just stating "For health reasons".

depende na siya sa workplace kung unsa ang inyo set of regulations... it depends on the number of days na nag AWOL ka... it could range from one day to indefinite AWOL as in wala na jud plano mobalik...

normally if AWOL ka for one day, naa na dayon Show cause memo na mag huwat nimo, wherein you are asked to explain the reasons for your AWOL, penalty for that is normally written warning or corrective counseling ... if a couple of days naka AWOL, show cause memo, then you are asked to attend an admin hearing, to verbally explain your AWOL, then if they are not convinced sa imo reasons, there's a decision made out of your case then you will be suspended or terminated. if terminated ka, YES you could still received your 13th month or whatever dimunitions that are legally entitled to you

if indefinite AWOL ka, as in wala na jud ka nagpakita, a letter of inquiry will be sent to you... asking you if you still have plans on going back to work... there will be three letter of inquiries, asking your attendance to explain your side... if dili jud ka magpakita, then usa ra jud ang padulngan, termination... and you are still entiltled for your last pay, if dili nila ihatag... dagan NLRC.

I agree ni Mata Hari. Can't expound any further. If AWOL ka then ...naa ra na nimo if mobalik ka ug dili but definitly if ang usa ka employee mag AWOL pre-meditated na that means planned. If di na siya pre-meditated then imo instinct will tell you to inform the company. Otherwise if mobalik ka then sa gi ingon pa ni Springfield "Paluoy luoy dayon sa dagway" then present your case. If un accetable then kato gi mention earlier ni Mata Hari applies.
