If you want to be rich think like an entrepreneur. If you want security stick to your job.

i beg to differ...having a business like a sari-sari store does not necessarily make u an entrepreneur. it could make u one but not always one...A business proprietor and an entrepreneur are 2 entirely different things.

Entrepreneurship is all about attitude and behavior...

where is the passion, in the name of an idea, and enthusiastic vision in putting up a small sari-sari store when your purpose is just to have a sari-sari store & make ends meet for the family? of course there is a little risk involved bsag sari-sari ra but taking risk is not the only factor that makes u an entrepreneur...

if we say that the purpose of putting up a sari-sari store is to grow, save capital to venture into a successful 24/7 convenience store in the future, or perhaps into a softdrinks warehouse, injected w/ passion, determination and a vision, then that person could have "entrepreneural spirit"...

take for example JULIE'S BAKESHOP. if the Gandiongko's didn't have the entrepreneural spirit, their business could just remain a bakeshop just like any other ordinary bakeshop. BUT now it's a franchise all over the Phils...get the difference?

some other perfect examples of "entrepreneural spirit" are:
    SIOMAI SA TISA
    THIRSTY
ALEJO'S LECHON (from local market to national)...

    u have good attitude man...hehe

anyways, being an entrepreneur is not only to get RICH...it could also mean u can create more employment and give inspiration to all would-want-to-be-entrepreneurs out there.

the best example of entrepreneural spirit is the typical "RAGS-TO-RICHES" story with the likes of John Gokongwei...he risked in putting up Cebu Pacific airlines against the giant PAL. he put up the idea of selling C2 w/c is a huge success up to now...

or if Gokongwei's life story is somewhat too fairy tale-like, we could also see it in another Cebuano, Mr. Carlito Tiu, owner of Sungold Mktg outlets. He was so poor that he started out retailing plastic bags ug sako using just a pushcart.

oh, and looking at the international level, how can we forget the story of Harland Sanders who founded Kentucky Fried Chicken...

Ang mga young people karon, is not as responsible as past generation, maybe this is because of many lures that diverts this attention, one of this is internet, computer games, amusement establishments.
