    i am from PS before 12k ang starting sa mga wlay experience.. plus night diff and rice allowance nga tanan taxable!!! good luck nalang if sa travel acount mo...walay lami mga incentives!!!!

    unta dli mag deny ang mga taga travel accounts ani.....

    if mag resign ka, dumtan ka, watch out! They'll do everything they can to get you terminated before your end date... ing ana ka nindot dha, so good luck, ok?!

    by the way i am not baby_jenie... i'm using her account only bec. im not yet a member of istorya. but i am just doing this to give ideas to people kay luoy man gud if mabutang mo sa ing ani nga situation...

    i have friends nga nag resign nalang pero la japon nahatag ang incentive nila... nag handom ka sa wala, isn't it hurting??

    hahaha... bitaw asa na si vetrep@live.com, cya baya naka-inspire nako to push thru with my resignation.... bitaw oi, I had a terrible experience pud with PS. ila incentive scheme walay claro,,, daghan nakog incentive kunohay nga wala ma-credit. unya taxable pa jud tanan.. faet.. ang ending gamay na lang take home pay nimo bisan pa gi-increasan nila ako basic... i'm no longer affiliated with PS and I don't have any regerets...

    if ma assign mo sa travel account?? its good as resigning.. batiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii kaau! bsan nlng ug hatagan kag free id holder dli na possible.. hehe id holder rana ha... hahai.. the very reason why i quit. nice man hinuon ilang working envt.

    im still with PS (guess i just got lucky im with the inbound tech sales account) for over 2years now

    the PROs
    1. wa jud ko kasulay ug graveyard shift (ever!)...we get to bid on schedules man gud
    2. our account is quite generous, we have the standard basic pay and allowance PLUS commission! (there were some paydays nga i received much more than what a team manager receives in a WHOLE month)
    3. i like the people here (well, most of them anyway)... ive never received a written warning, bsan sa unsa pa na offense.hehe
    4. with PS, if u have problems or errors with pay, taxes, deductions, paperwork...just 'press the right buttons and talk to the right people' and voila! problem resolved
    5. did i already say my account is generous? in one of the incentive programs, i received a sony PSP slim recently... just for accumulating a number of points (and ive also received several other gadgets before)
    6. the HMO is great! (and pinaka dako among all call centers)... my husband and 2 kids. covered! no extra charge.


    the CONs
    1. if your stats are not that great, bisan asa na lng ka ilabay (imo schedule pwere gaba, or ilabay ka sa lain account)
    2. (and this is the saddest) they changed the commission scheme. bisan higher na ang metrics, we're receiving much less than before.
    3. admittedly, naa jud favoritism... kun ma kontrahan ka, bsan 1 min late, hagbong AHT, or some other trivial offenses, warning dayon... ive seen some friends go the way of the dodo because of this.
    4. grabe grabe pud ang politics (though not as bad as other CCs). u wanna be promoted? good luck if u dont have the right qualifications AND the right connections.
    5. i'm no longer contented with the pay (naanad man gud ko sa una nga grabe ka dagko) so i keep on looking for something better... ready na ako resume ug resignation letter
    6. there are rumors that the company will 'change' the HMO... padong na pagamyan... padong na ni mubati

    well, this is turning into a very very long post already.

    for those who want to apply. good luck! PS is not the best, but not also the worst.

    pakapin: my husband USED TO BE with the travel account (expedia)... aside nga lahi ilang building, lahi ang kalibutan didto! (u can even go as far as saying nga u work in a different company if ur in that account).

    I think it depends with the person. The travel account is not really that difficult or the worst account and the world is not different there. The financial accounts are the weirdest because they isolate themselves from civilization and I've heard TL's are not allowed to bring their cellphones in the Ops floor. People are very much normal in the travel account. They can give or show you the world and its not that they have a "world of their own."

    first, let us agree that, in general, collections accounts, closely followed by financial and billing accounts, have the highest turnovers in the industry...ergo the most stressful...ergo the 'worst'.

    with that in mind, it is a surprise to find that the expedia account has one of the highest turnovers in the company (and i can even go so far as saying, in the travel accounts industry)... this is only one of the indicators that most of the people there are overworked, under appreciated, AND under paid (and the list could go on...)

    people there are very much normal and sane... so why is it 'a different world out there'?

    let me just say that the expedia account is NOT the most difficult NOR is it the worst...it's not even close to call center hell ... but it certainly is call center purgatory.

    asa na bitaw to si vetrep@live.com..?? for me, there is no such thing as perfect company...and there is no company who can satisfy the needs of its employees samot na karon, mahal na ang bugas, nimahal ang gasul, ang gasolina ug samot!! mahal na kaau ang drugs ron!! hehehe...with PS, the environement is cool bec even I and kornyedison can wear our slippers and shorts in the ops floor, the thing is, the csat scheme is inconsistent..its gone already and iila gipuli, raffle tickets?? ( so annoying)..i think, PS is a mediocre company..not the best, also not the worst...the only thing i stayed with PS because naa pa koy utang sa RAGIN!!hehehe..louy kau ako amigo kung moresign ko kay iya sweldo maoy kaltasan!!hehehe..
    for me, PS is good but as ive said, theres no such thing as perfect company....
