    can the government publish in the newspaper something like an annual report... balance sheet financial report.

    unya ibutang didto..
    -pila ang nakolekta nga kwarta gkan sa Income Tax...indicate pud pila ang population unya pila didto ang nagbayad sa income tax.
    -pila ang VAT
    -pila ang E-VAT
    -pila ang real property taxes
    -pila ang taxes from bank deposits.
    -pila ang taxes from "sin" goods (cigar,wines...)
    -pila ang taxes sa entertainment (movies, theaters..)
    -pila ang taxes sa entertainers
    -pila ang import/export taxes
    - tanang tax proceeds...

    ibutang pud ang tanang government spendings(projects, name of project, cost sa project, sweldo sa mga empleyado, rent sa building/lot..etc)

    if diili makaya sa newspaper...puede naay website nga adto nila i-post ang reports?

    my friend, what you are suggesting to publish in a newspaper is like something for a public corporation like San Miguel Corp, Meralco, etc... BUT NOT AN ENTIRE COUNTRY! besides, you can always google some sites to get your answers. we have websites from the PIA, NSO, BIR, Congress, etc.

    all u need is time to research.

    here's an example:

    VAT/EVAT:

    "Information obtained from the office of Revenue District Officer Ursula Equiña, showed that 2007 EVAT collection amounted to P34,626,932.78 or up by P10,418,978.97 equivalent to 28.59 percent against 2006 collection (EVAT) of P22,999,085.06.

    Last year's EVAT collection constituted 16.66 percent of the P207.8 million revenues collected for the period."
