first meeting
just came from the first meeting of this group.
present were jomark, dwight, eisen, eisen's brother(forgot his name) and my self.
we had a very lively discussion about almost anything about digital video production. among the items discussed are as follows.
1. sharing general technical aspects of hardware/softwares being used.
2. formulation of a digital video/film group/society to be finalized in a general meeting to be held next saturday(may 31, 2003), tentatively held at my place in banilad. an election will also be conducted.
3. sharing of technical knowledege in digital film making.
4. possibility of doing an independent film festival in cebu, showcasing members' works.
5. sourcing actors, screenwriters, storyboarders, nude models! etc...
6. doing a regular internal contest with different themes. (black and white, documentary, comedy, drama, special effects, sci fi, commercial, mtv, etc...)
7. conducting work shops for members to improve technical and creative skills.
8. creating a core group.
9. other topics that i cannot presently recall

excellent!!! should have checked this thread a long time ago. i dunno nothing bout making films (though the enthusiasm and the interest in the said thing is there) but u have my support!

hi guys. i regret to announce that we cannot do the meeting at my house cuz our 2 maids went home and won't back till sunday. gubot kaayo ang balay. we just have to look for another place. ill try to borrow a laptop. any suggestions?
