that is to be expected on a nexus line of device, since that is what google had envisions on how android is... nexus devices are just manifestation on what android can do... and what it should be, minus the bloat of manufacturer.... so aslong as there is new android version it should be available to nexus line, unless google stated that i wont such versions...

officially once picked up by google it would be called Google Nexus 6 not Motorola Nexus 6...

non-nexus users can still try latest rom via 3rd party custom mod rom like CM... but its the users risk since some device may not function properly... either way if you brick your phone dali raman sad... just make sure you have no more warranty para dili matabla...

Didn't say it being discontinued was a factor. N5 would get the update fast since developer preview images of Android M are available for the N5 already. The N7 doesn't have it already. So if it would get the update, it would only have it later. Mas pas2 pa cguru mga custom roms ana.
