great built.. just a question, do you have plans to put engines on it?
That's a nice looking boat you got there borjborj. Ni gamit ka ug vacuform? If so, asa mana paliton mga materials ana.
BTW, I'm planning on building my 1/48 Academy MiG-29A. Since inaccurate mani iyang cockpit and ejection seat asta ang burner cans which is very important IMHO, I'm planning to scratchbuild them. Anyone who had built this kit or planning to build it basig naa na mo mashare na experience.
thanks...i did not use vacumforming.
Can we know if the molder use for that is a silicon rubber? or fiber glass?
it is not molded. all the parts were fabricated by hand, not molded. the yahct's hull is solid wood, hand carved.
yes, i have a glass case ordered already.
@gian7675: i saw your handle (fokker) at the old IPMS-BA forum. I'm also a forum member on both IPMS-BA and IPMS-Manila.
@Messerschmit: Nice to find this one. It would be great if we can establish a group here in Cebu. Our resources here are scarce but with united effort, we can go a long way.
I've been into scale modeling since the 80's also. And yes, I too finish like 1 model a day. But usually OOB and decals applied straight into it without the paint finish. I was already happy that way then. I'm mostly into aircrafts but have a couple of armor and car builds too. But those kits are mostly in the boneyard right now. I got into a sabbatical in the 90's and remembered finishing only 5 models for the entire decade. School and work got into the way. Now I'm back with the hobby and is also trying to level up my skills again.
Btw, my handle at IPMS-BA is "moyti" and "jumpman" at IPMS-Manila
