I-substrate nimo ang riversand? dili gyud pwede nang pebbles or naai mga bato-bato... if nahan gyud mo ug sand kai kanang sand na pariha ka-pino sa sand sa portofino... lisud na au if makakaon inyong bao ug bato...

res keepers suggest using smooth big river rocks na dili pwede makaon sa bao as the best substrate... and some - like me - opt to not have no substrate at all.

dili man sila underwater mag-lay ug eggs... if ma preggy sila kai they need soft moist soil to lay their eggs. and besyds, they can only get pregnant if they're 5 years old na... so unya nalang worry about breeding unless mudako na ang tummy sa tortol.. ^_^
