Kia Sephia - as far as I know this has a larger engine (say 1.6,not so sure though) and its already DOHC in EFI.Maintenance in comparison medyo expensive gamay sa Kia Pride variant but mostly kia parts have lower prices compared to other brands.Some taxi's are using the Sephia ,what model yr do you have?

For spare parts naa daghan ani brand new and surpus,dali maguba? in terms of usage and proper maintenance I dont thing so? but if the owner is just a ride and drive fellow w/out minding its condition then tendency breakdown maintenance dayun,all parts have its life and periodically it should be replaced no matter what the brand is. But for a second hand car, you should take the risk nalang if you opt to buy it...of course after you bought it to be sure have it check by a reputable mehcnanice or shop...have an estimate on what parts that needs to be replaced before it breaks or fail....just my 2 cents...

1st of all the club originated from luzon gyud specifically manila area(North NCR,South priders,Metro East),they started there as plain enthusiast of this kia pride variant.Due to its affordability and wide source of parts its very easy for us to maintain and modify this car, you can opt to be a stock owner,you can modify it for racing(autocross,slalom,etc..)due to its small body(im referring to the cd5)....of course reliable and easy to maintained....Also we have our tuning brothers in Davao and Iloilo(more into audio fanatics).Our umbrella group KRT or Kia Racing team are our entries for racing categories.

As for our chapter here in Cebu we are considered the Visayas Main Group, we were formed way back from 2007 then when just a group of us were sharing common ideas on how to restore back our kia prides.As we all know this were Kia's people's car entry during 1987-2000 model years from cd5 hatchback,GTX and LX sedans and other countries preselled their own markets pride wagon and 2 door hatchbacks, so most of this running on the streets are very much over used, tested by time, used by taxi operators until now and some family owned/pampered.

As part of our activities we always has our monthly EB's and meetings, discussing on maintenance, parts resource, new Do it yourself discussion for our cars, paint job, tires, mags,etc....Aside from this we always take part on civic and outreach activities like tree plantings,orphanages,sports,etc...this is just our way go giving back to the society in return despite that we motorists are contributors of pollution since our cars is our means of transportation.We help projects for our fellow members,help him source out stuff not available here in cebu and likewise share accessories if there are car show events like the car club meet last Augu 22-23 AT CICC.We are just showing to the public what the KIA Pride car can do in terms of its physicality and performance despite of the bias branding of people of the KIA brand but look at KIA motors right now especially in terms of sales due to its economical cars being launch,look at the Korean Brands today Samsung for example. The KIa Pride was the 1st KIA car that was design for fuel economy during its time.

Actually many were asking why not formed a KIA Club here in Cebu? we the group is encouraging to invite all KIA enthusiast to formed a KIA group maybe starting from our Kie Pride group and lets take it from there,well see how far it goes in the future....take note before there were only 5 of us here in Cebu but right now we are growing currently 38 official members...

Try to go to Korean Synthesis at the back of SM or try Jong Hap Mandaue....or look for xhawise at Buy and Sell section I think his carrying Korean Surplus parts.Also try Nito's at Pier 4.If you don't find any try Panganiban St. on sidewalk surplus parts, kung wala gyud just PM me we will try to help you.

2. Last quarter target activities
a. Civic or Outreach activity

c. Technical Seminars for Basic Automotive & Airconditioning
d. Christmas Party Planning

3. Basketball Exhibition Tournament c/o pardoniancd5
a. trophy ? prizes for donation?
b. practice ? additional players?

4. Product Freebies from last Car Club Meet
a. I suggest we raffle this for our Chirstmas party para bibo...what do u think? lets talk also about this....anyway there's no short expiration naman for the products...

a. how do we do it?

c. how about our old automotive items and non-automotive items that are still good, maybe the proceeds/money may just be donated to KPC for our funds or a percent of it maybe donated to KPC depends sa seller....?
