dili sila ka tangtang ana kay ang grado man ang basis ana.. dili ang conduct nimo sa gawas sa school... by the way this is a free country.. we can do anything that is legal... smoking and drinking beer is legal in Philippine Territory..

Yeah, I think there are other threads that discuss economic and political issues, and the likes. For example, the thread for Corona's impeachment trial but the pancakes there aren't that hot at the moment. It will be cold for a month. Hehehehehe.
Anyways, I feel sad for the students. One of the student left sobbing after the guard(s) stopped them from entering the school. It was a sad scene.
actually yes, selling cigarrete to minor is illegal.. smoking /using drugs is illegal...
none of the law in the Philiippines state that "if a minor smoking cigarrette is illegal"
technically they did not violate any ordinance.
instead the seller of the cigarettes should be sought and be banned not the kids, they aint do nothing but used Legal product that has paid taxes to the Philippine government. I hope you understand what I am pointing out.
I hope ang mga head hunter's sa company will be not so narrow minded that they will no longer shortlist applicants that does not graduate from a "reputable" school.
Before, yes. During my time, I was enrolled in a sectarian school, daily check of our fingernails, if it was dirty, or not trimmed. Expect a slap with a wooden ruler. Ah, good times. You should have been there, when we were punished to kneel on a pile of mongo beans. It was fun!
im not an atty but I think its clear in our Tobacco Regulation Act. It even says about penalty "If a minor is caught selling, buying or smoking cigarettes or any other tobacco products, the provisions of Article 189 of Presidential Decree No. 603 otherwise known as The Child and Youth Welfare Code, as amended, shall apply." maybe im wrong
