OTOH, it would be folly, even risky, to forget the past. like how juan ponce enrile made the list of media people to be arrested, and he now touts his son as a bright young star of RP politics; how PFM embargo'ed business enterprises owned by political opponents, and now his son bongbong struts around like nobody's business...

Move on but never forget the past. One of the reasons why we have crooks in Gov't. today is because the people easily forget.

it would be pure insult to say 'move on' to the relatives and love ones of more or less 900 people still missing from forced disappearances. these are individuals still unaccounted for. and no one has gone to jail for these disappearances.

without any closure, without any resolution, you cannot blame them if year after year, even if four long decades have past, these people will still try to disturb our blissful apathetic stupor with old tales of torture, sorrow, fear, loss and anger.

without giving them anything about the whereabouts of the desaparecidos, without giving them the justice that they seek, who are we to tell them to 'move on'?
