well, i do like selling stuff and all... but if i do get into marketing... i wont do such thing... why? well, my parents where both in insurance before, and i guess i could compare my parents job before with this company coz i have heard naa sad mo insurance... i dont want to tell what my parents were in the insurance stuff.. but, lets say, tagam ko... and i know some people whom what some people here na gapangilad ug isig ka tao para mka kwarta, and i dont like that... thats a thing a frustrated person could do... there are a lot of choices we have.. so as far as i can do, ill avoid that.. haha.. pero, di jud nko xa feel jud.. as in!..haha... senxa..

and im not employeed to just any company... my brother has his own company, im under my brother.. so kung ma dato xa, OK ra nko, kay hitch man sad ko..hahaha... but im free to apply other company.. sa akoa lang brother is, tinabangay mi.

In fact if u sell, you are already marketing.
But marketing is not all selling.

Then let me ask you, what type of company is that?

If u said so, ill tell u.. "you just don't know how ur brother is running the company."
Marketing is the heart & soul of every business.
W/o it, a company wouldnt survive... It even won't exist in the 1st place.

That's Production.

And marketing is not selling (ikaw mamaligya)
That's Sales.

Marketing is done by the big boss in a starting company.
In big companies, brilliant heads are put in Marketing Department.

So, never belittle marketing.

In marketing..
1. You study the market.
2. You study the strengths & weaknesses of your company
3. You study the competition
4. You then create a marketing plan which involves so many things like...
- boosting company visibility & its products/services in the market
- creating & sustaining a good company image
- moving needed manpower for the achievement of the company's goal
- ensure corporate health

That's what it is. It's not simple.
Never equate marketing to insurance or to agents or to brokers or to anybody where it falls short of the real meaning of it.
