if that '96 Bulls team were to square up with the Spurs of this generation, who do u think would have won?

I still think the Bulls would beat them, but in a hard way..... like the Suns and Jazz.
kilawon ni MJ si Bowen, the difference between MJ and Lebron is that MJ is very good jump shooter. maglibog si Bowen ani , kay he can shoot, drive, post up and pass..
and Pip will difinitely shut down Manu, and Dennis can Handle Timmy.. plus the outside shooters, kerr, buechler, Kukoc... waaah i think if that happens Bulls in 6... but a very close one.
oh I forgot Harper is also a very good underated defender, stronger and taller, Parker will be having trouble.. and of course one of the greatest defender ever MJ will be also guarding Parker and that's a problem for the Spurs...
to summarize
puro ni maayo og defense, og offense - and naka deperensya lang naa scoring machine ang Bulls si MJ, who can carry his team on his back
defense - advantage ang Bulls - though gamay ra ang deperensya
sa Suns vs. Spurs
though ill be rooting for the Suns but my prediction is Spurs in 7.. the Suns simply cant win without Marion.. pero kung naa Marion then they are with Shaq. then bye bye Spurs
Hahaha. Chauncey Billups and Rasheed Wallaces's desperation shots beyond the half court anyone? . Derek Fisher's 0.4 second shot?Sorry. In my book, there's no such thing as luck.
I was pertaining to your statement that "Steve Kerr is a *****". So, is he? Really? Forcing the Spurs into a 2OT duel is not something we see everyday and also considering the fact that it's the playoffs. And BTW, I don't have the luxury of time to do a lot of NBA research, I just know where to find valuable and reliable infos.Again, another flawed premise. I'm sure with your researching skills (and unlimited time at hand to do that), you'll see that not all defending champions are dominant in all of their games. The Jordan-led Bulls struggled with the Suns, the Sonics, and the Jazz during their respective Finals. The important thing is not how they won the game but the fact that they win is what counts, which the Kleenex Suns have yet to taste, sorry.
That's the best thing that could've happened to the Suns but unfortunately the Suns' salary cap won't allow it. Shaquille O'Neal is eating up $20M until 2010, Amare Stoudemire is close to $14M this season, Steve Nash is due a little over $11M, and Shawn Marion is receiving $16.44M this season. The four of them alone makes up about $61M of the Suns' salary cap space and is already very close to the league's salary cap limit.sa Suns vs. Spurs

A more decent deal (aside from Marion) salary wise is sending Leandro Barbosa and Boris Diaw (and maybe Raja Bell) to Miami for Shaquille O'Neal but it would leave the Suns badly shorthanded. Plus there were also some rumors that Marion is already unhappy with the Suns so it would be better to send him away and at least get somebody good in return than keep on fielding him. Marion's number declined this season with Phoenix.
Maybe another possibility should have been Miami buying Shaq's remaining contract out but buying out a $60M contract due for 2 more seasons and getting much less in return is very unlikely, not unless Pay Riley will do ala Jerry West and Memphis Grizzlies stunt where they gave up Pau Gasol for no names led by Kwame Brown. Shawn Marion is the closest to best deal Phoenix can give Miami for Shaq.
It might seem and each game might look effortless but Scottie Pippen said in an interview that it was one hell of a season. Chicago is trying to bounce back from a second round exit in 1995 against Orlando and wants to make a statement, they were treating each game as if it was a playoff game. That could be one of the reasons why the playoffs were too easy for them.winning 72 is an effortless season from them.. even beating the Power house Knicks in 5 and sweeping Shaqs Magic .
bahala nag ***** si steve kerr. pero milyones ang kwarta. nakaduwa na sa nba along with MJ. and unsa pa diha na mga damgo sa mga yano na basketbolista...
