Especially Willie. He made millions out of it and what he is giving away are but loose change. And he brags about it.

He always makes fun of his dancers in Wowowie. Stopping the music while the dancers are in awkward pose. And he still ask the dancers to repeat it again and again.

Oh, by the way, I just wonder if it is really necessary that these dancers should really dance like agogo dancers and dress up indecently. hmmm...

I'm not a fan of Willie but I saw that episode and I didn't see anything wrong with it. More than anything else, I think this issue has become a personal attack on Willie and not on the incident per se.

If it is true that the show (and Willie) earns millions of dollars per episode then it should not be very surprising that some people would be envious of this huge fortune.

Pero solid dabarkads gihapon ko!!! yehey!

Same thing here. Nothing but an obvious display of hypocrisy. Giduot gyud ni nila na sala ni Willie and when I saw the episode everyone else was enjoying themselves. Nya karon kai abi gipalabas na dautan hugas kamay dayon ta? My god!

And if you do a background check of the so-called "psychologist" it turns out igsuon diay sa taga ABS-CBN na tao diay to. Klaro kaayo smear campaign ba!

    Transcript supports some TV5 statements

An enterprising Facebook activist took pains to transcribe the audio-visual footage of the 48-minute episode from which the 10-minute “spliced" video clip of a crying dancing boy on TV5’s game show “Willing Willie" was taken.

The transcript apparently confirms what host Willie Revillame, TV5 management and their counsels had been saying about the boy crying after seeing basketball player Bonel Balingit and had lost the game to a girl contestant.

Anna Margarita Garcia posted Friday on her Facebook page a Note titled “‘Kantanong’ portion of Willing Willie (March 12, 2011 episode)" to put into proper context how this episode of TV5’s primetime game show led to its voluntary two-week suspension starting on April 11.

Garcia noted that “TV5 management & counsel pointed out that out of the 48 minute portion of the episode, only a ‘spliced’ 10-minute video clip was shown on YouTube. This transcription focuses on contestant number 5 because, precisely, he was the child allegedly subjected to abuse on the show."

In the transcript, it was noted that, just as TV5’s counsels had long maintained, the six-year-old boy came to tears only twice during the episode – first, moments after the boy saw Balingit towering over him, and second, after the boy lost in the elimination round to a little girl contestant.

The transcript also noted that when another little girl contestant had started crying, “Willie stopped, sympathized and asked her to stop crying, wiped her tears and let her sing again."

But it was also noted that Revillame called the crying dancing boy a “macho dancer" and compared his performance to the movie “Burlesk Queen," in which Vilma Santos played the character of a stripper who was obliged to continue dancing even though she was in extreme suffering.

What follows is the transcript posted by Garcia on her Facebook Wall.

“Kantanong" Portion of Willing Willie (March 12, 2011 episode) Transcription
by Anna Margarita Garcia on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1:48pm

TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: Before going on a two-week voluntary suspension on April 11, TV5’s primetime game show “Willing Willie" used to air Mondays to Saturdays.

The game show’s main segment “Wiltime Bigtime" has six contestants competing in two rounds: the elimination round “Kantanong" and the jackpot round “Spin a Wil."

The game show host, Willie Revillame, would interview each of the contestants during “Kantanong" portion and have each of them showcase a talent. Depending on the contestant’s talent shown and the studio audience’s approval, Willie would give various amounts of cash rewards to each contestant.

All the contestants in the March 12 episode of Willing Willie in the Wiltime Bigtime portion were children.

    TRANSCRIPTION BEGINS HERE

    Contestants were called

    1. Jenny, Grade 4, sang “Bring Me To Life" and got P5,000 as cash prize.

    2. Joeann, 9-years old, sang “Stand Up For Life" and also got P5,000 as cash prize.

    3. Madelle, 8-years old, sang “Would You Say You Love Me" and the host, Willie Revillame, praised her and asked her to sing again because she sang so well.
Madelle said she wants to be famous. Willie asked why, and she replied that she wanted to help her parents.
Willie asked her what was the first thing she would buy for her family once she was famous.
Madelle started crying, and Willie stopped, sympathized and asked her to stop crying, wiped her tears and let her sing again. Madelle sang "Listen".
After listening to Madelle sing, Willie gave her P15,000 as cash reward.

    4. Ian, a little boy who did not disclose his age, sang a rap song to one of the game show dancers. He go P7,000 as cash reward.

On the fourth question, instead of saying “Kantanong!" Willie said “Question!" Then he corrected himself and said “Anong question!? *laughter* Anong tawag to. Kantanong! *laughter* Parang Wowowee tuloy to. *laughter* Baka sabihin pa nila ginagaya natin, eh dadudulas ah." *laughter*

(TRANSCRIBER’S NOTE: “Wowowee" is the noontime show which Willie used to host in a different television network, ABS-CBN.)

    5. Jan-Jan, 6-years old, went on stage. Willie to called over Bonel Balingit, a former basketball player, to stand beside him and Jan-Jan.

For me, he simply did bully the kid. If he only had the boy dance once then there would be no issue at all. But count how many times did he ask the kid to dance and what were his words while the kid was dancing??I don't wish him bad but all we want is a changed man. A better one.

I don't like willie but I think what's happening to him now is politically motivated by ABS-CBN as a move for ABS to win the ratings war with TV5 by bringing them down.
