Regardless if you wait a month before your contract expires or file a cancellation now...pareha ra imo anguish....
The bottomline here, they don't want you to bail-out kay di na sila ka-kwarta nimo. Asa man ka mangahoy anang if one signed for example a 3 or 12 months contract, you still need to take initiative to advise them to cancel your gym membership or else, they will keep on charging you monthly fee way past your contract expirations!! Regadless, if you use credit card or cash...either way, they keep billing you unless you already sign-up the cancellation form. If credit card, the auto debit of these monthly charges will continue from your credit card, if cash and you do not settle them, they will forward your account to an external collection agency to do the collection and mess with your life for being delinquent....

I suggest you prepare a notice of cancellation effective one month after and I'm sure they will not honor it with whatever excuses they can think of...again, pareha ra imong anguish as you need to do the same before or after your 1 year contract ends...

I met with the DTI Provincial Director and also, provided necessary copy to the Credit Card company....let's see what happen.

I already told those dumbasses if they continue to refuse to manage my cancellation request, I will see to it that the proper authorities are alerted with their dubious marketing and knock these idiots!!! I am also in contact with banking authorities to make sure that credit card companies are not in connivance with these idiots!!!

This is just the initial move...got to STOP THIS MADNESS!!!

salamat kayo bai... ako lang jud siguro huwaton ang contract ani.. then 2months lang ko mag prepare daan sa cancellation papers and unsa pa kinahanglan.. as of now gamit sa ko tanan magamit diri... okey2 raman facilities nila ngari... pero ma loner ko gud... wa pakoy na amigo/amiga.... puhon lang.... sakto ra kah anang 2 months before bai sa?? dali raman siguro ipa cancel ni... kay 1year contract gud... hahaha.. karun while ang type ko ani.. naa ko sa fitness first gamit ila free internet.. HAHAHAHA!!!

Not only that I'm doing this for someone close to heart that was also duped into this dubious transaction but reading this thread that was started way back 2005 and up to now is really disturbing and made me sick!!! Someone got to do something about these idiots!!

Ako kay based on my instincts ra jud to nga wala ko nag pa credit card (dili nga wala ko'y credit card) bisan naa koy ma hulman para maka swipe, its just there is something fishy na lang jud kay pug-son or maninguha jud sila nga ipa credit card. This is a very common issue with fitness first. I have a friend as well who's been paying their services for a year because he was billed on his card for 1 year when he signed up for just 3 months. Grabe tikes jud sa fitness, Dili Lang sad siya naka experience ani daghan pa siya kaila nga gi tikasan pud tungod lagi cc ila gamit charge sa card 1 year....

morag daghan na jud nag rant dire na thread. May guro buhaton no kay mass lawsuit ni nya ipa media. Tan-awon na to di ba ni mo takilid. Daghan jud na sila hidden agenda oi. Katry pud ko purchase of vouchers kay promo daw, toink pag-adto naa paman diay additional charges. Grrrr!!! Wa ajo!!!
