I really don't know the history of AKP in UC but this is what I know now: they didn't accredit or "recognize" AKP in UC for the sole reason of fear or paranoia. We can't blame them can't we? They don't want to bring in trouble into their school.

That is true ... and it applies in general to very individual students also who are not fratmembers either . The problem is , they are working on something that is only skin deep . We cant blame them either for that matter .

Accreditation, recognition, whatever the term is, the point is that AKP is not accepted to operate inside their school.

Its because our existence / purpose / duties doesnt rely on the support of UC itself to effectively function as a service fraternity . If we spend time and focus on it , we can be recognized as part of the student organization system . There are thousands of reason why we opted that also . What is UC anyways . It is only a speck of the whole university operating in Cebu .

Even their current Student Affairs director who handles all frat/soror issues is not and was not a member of any frat before. He said AKP must prove their worth first...

Bai you probably meant SCHOOL BASED FRATERNITIES . Academic fraternities refers to a group of people who shares a common goal . It is very broad , even LAW frats belongs to academic fraternities or like the one in USC TC before na taga luyo who has members who are only and specific students na CHEMICAL ENGINEERING or BS CHEM students and no one else ang pwede ma admit outside that course . Frats like one in UP in Manila, I forgot the name also who only admits members who are consistent deans listers . These are the ACADEMIC FRATERNITIES .

Most of the time , GREEK LETTERED ORGANIZATIONS who has chapters in universities are mistaken for academic fraternities .

Yes avoid AKP and TGP . Hehehehe .... bai to be honest with you , daghan man jud badlungon sa AKP and TGP , but it doesnt justify na BADLUNGON ang fraternity and yes thanks to the media who made money out of us less the royalties . Kabalo ka ngano walay headlines sa APO ? Ask APO members bai how they do it when they engage in war with their bestfriend forever , TGP itself .

Sa order of DeMOLAY pod , back in my yesteryears in USC mga mid 90's , they proclaimed an all out war with a fraternity also na local lang sa USC in main actually , isnt that something not of a MASONIC PRINCIPLE ?

My point of saying this , wala man ko malain sa gi sulti nimo but sugarcoating something to hide the truth is only temporary . Bisan basa kaayo ang AKRHO sa panan-aw sa ubang tao tungod sa media , we stand on our motto VINCIT OMNIA VERITAS . TRUTH CONQUERS ALL , naa ra ang kamatuoran ug dili na mo hawa . That is the sad truth because the TRUTH na akong gipasabot , only the REAL AKP MEMBERS knows it . I know all these coz he was a close friend of mine during our high school years and we see each other sometimes even up to this day.

Kinsay naka hinumdom about cesar savedra the original frontman of the group brownian method who released the phenomenal hits "PASIKAT" was shot on talisay in kalag-kalag way back 2001 i think.

The gunmen was my friend (TGP - echoy or joel - new survive ) and the guy was shot also my friend ( Not AKP member )...

I was appeard on TV on that time for an ambush inteview on abs-cbn kadali ra noon kai didto mani dapit sa akong mga relatives diha sa talisay nahitabo.

Sa pasiunang imbistigasyon sa kapolisan, nasayran nga samtang nagpalit og sigarilyo ang biktima sa usa ka tindahan sa ilang dapit kalit lang nga mipatim-aw sa iyang kilid ang mamumuno.

Unya kalit lang gipusil ang biktima sa walay igong hinungdan ug human sa panghitabo daling midagan ang mamumuno pahilayo sa maong dapit.

Samtang ang biktima dali usab nga gidala sa Cebu City Medical Center tungod sa grabi nga igo niini sa ulo.
