Don't forget ang uban nga DSL Providers like Eastern Telecom, Bayantel, etc. Please give us your opinions/experience on their service if your using them para maka make ug informed comparison ang mga "istoryans" dir. :mrgreen:

For Corporate, I would recommend Mozcom Wireless broadband...Using Compoint 10.5Ghz.. Usually ang mga client nila kay mga Big University here in cebu.. Imagine mura naka nag subscribe sa Bayantel,PLDT, ug Globe @ a time. I heard nga next month ma expand ang ila facility here in cebu using wireless 10.5Ghz then mas barato & alot of Value added nga free..sa mga IT guy get your free Ipad upon signing...psst....hehehe... satisfied!

The 5 Ghz range is still covered by the 802.11a IEEE protocol and most people just lump 802.11a/b/g into the wifi banner. But since the higher the frequency goes the more power you need to transmit to the same range ex. for the 2.4 Ghz you can use about 75 mw of power where you can get about 300 meters in wide open space while for the 5 Ghz 802.11a you need more than that to transmit on a radius of 300 meters thats why when you use wifi as a fixed outdoor wireless solution you use a high gain antenna at the same time you use an amp or if the built in amp of the access point goes over 200 mw dili na kinahanglan. Just crank it up, pero bantay-bantay lang kung walay proper cooling basig mag meltdown na inyong access point ngek!!!

Magpataud ko ug Bayantel DSL dire sa amo sa Surigao City. Kinsay taga Surigao City diria nga naay Bayantel.... I heard paspas daw kaayu ug wala kaayo problema kai wala pa mag 50 ka subscribers ang naa dire Surigao.

Ok ang Bayantel service, pero medyo mahal monthly fee, but it's really worth. Nag gamit na sila ug IPStar* technology. Bypass ang existing network like PLDT, Globe, etc. So, connection will pass through satellite, then to the gateway and finally to the Internet backbone.
