sauna CB dont require a license... but during martial law gihimo siyag bawal.. though naa gihapon nag tikaw sa cb... normally gikan gawas nga cbers... perp bawal ghapon..

ham is only allowed to use then frequency alloted by he ntc... if class d or foundation class 144 to 146 on VHF ra ang allowed no UHF or HF then magka taas magka daghan sad ug frequency previlege...

BF-888 is 70cm band (420 to 450 MHz), dont recall if they have have 2m version, did they?... connecting to an external antenna as long as it supports your what ever your station's allowed band (UHF,VHF,UHF/VHF) then its ok!

mas kusog pa diay ang UV-3R niya kay 3watts... pero AFAIK most 70cm has smaller output power since they are usually used in short distances... unless nalang if mo trigger sa crossband-repeater

naka try nakag setup for FRS band using UHF? sa VHF rako naka try...

sakto jud mas better ang 70cm interms of short distances... but for longdistance 2m or 40m is the king... pero mingaw mansa 70cm, mingaw gani sa 2m hahahaha.... nindto tana ibalik na ang 10m...

    unsa swr imo gamit boss?

Family is family maski asa ka, maski unsa ang nationality, no distinction of race or color or market.

I am coming from disaster/relief operations. Communications is vital during emergencies, especially natural disasters of magnitude sa linog sa Bohol ug Yolanda calamity sa Leyte. People need help. Importante kaayo ang communication.

a Baofeng or Pofung 888S can be as low as 750 pesos per unit. maski measured output tawon ana is only 1 watt more or less, pero, dako na man na matabang.

I used to be a class C ham operator, passed Class A pero wala na ko maka process kay nigawas na man ko ato.

Thank you for sharing the frequency chart.

Amateur radio is a fine hobby.

I used to get good QSO from southern Cebu to Kapatagan using my Icom 2GAT with a diy ground plane antenna. Those were the good old days.

Naa pa man gani unta 25W nga handheld, vhf/uhf. China ra pero, nice ug quality.
