I'll try to make this as simple as it gets.

Point 1 is that the Bible says God is omnipotent and sovereign. Point 2, we all have freewill, and can deliberately choose to override God's commands and be off with our own. To how many times and to what extent does God, through His sovereignty, intervene in human affairs.. in the face of the reality of action-consequence/freewill.... that, I could only speculate (and study more). **smile**

The reality is we go through life doing and THEN, experiencing the fruit of those actions.

You steal a car, you get caught, you go to jail.
You sleep w/ an STD-infected hooker, you get STD.
You don't work, then you don't eat. Simple as that. (2 Thess. 3:10)

Although God promises us grace and forgiveness for our shortcomings, He simply doesn't press the delete key to our booboos, rather, He lets us learn from them.

All profoundly summed up at Gal. 6: 7-9.
