palit ko Zen2 sa thinking tools sa SM, ambot ug ngano nga mo kalit ra siya ug palong then dugay au mo balik ug ka on, dapat pa e long press ug taman..Come last week nga dili na jud ma on ang CP bisan ug e long press pa ug taman, to think full batt ang unit..1 month pa nako nagamit ang phone pero ang issue kay DMD..maypa ang Cloudfone nako for 4 years na karon wa jud issue..

I have a 4G Zenfone2 phone . Got it around late june or early july. Naguba ang LCD (flicker display til di na jd magamit) around 1st week of September. FYI lang para sa mga ganahan mo palit..

I suspect ang games ang nakaguba sa display. Same case nahitabo sa akong brother (he has the same phone). Same sad mi ug giduwa. hahaha

software cant damage the screen, it may corrupt the system but not damage the screen... if it does corupt the system a simple reflashing of stock rom would fix the problem...

point taken. but i think overheating does.. and some games causes overheating.. but then, i'm no expert on this..

i'll expound "naguba" ang LCD kai murag sayop na nga phrase for my issue:

- upon boot, ang supposedly nga logo sa ASUS kai thick vertical line ra ang mo appear.
- upon opening some apps(random-ish.. at times, like ing open sa viber or games) screen flickers at early stage
- after a day or two, dli lang kai screen flicker. mga 75% of the screen na gyud kai garbled.
- screen is still responsive though on times nga dli mag guba ang iyang display.

the android os got corrupted by many reasons, one is when game is saving to the internal storage then nakalit lang ug ka pawng (experienced this before sa akoa alcatel before, cant boot sa android...), on rooted devices this is also common since some apps can write some changes in to the system... and sometimes OTA (which is nag sige ug release ZF2 recently)...

naka root mo?

ive been playin GTA San Andreas, NBA, Soul Craft, Dead trigger... and that other shooter game i forgot the name... then i even use my ZF2 and tether to play DOTA2, War of Warships, War of Tanks and sometimes stream sa iflix... mo init siya tood pero never ko naka experienced nga nag problem ang display... been doing this since i got it late early june this year...

i think you just a got a lemon... thats why rooting ZF2 as of this moment is not recommended, probably after 5.1 update...
