Grabe nga nagtaas nanaman ang gas. Tuloy nagtaas din ang pamasahe ulit. Nagmahahal kasi ang oil sa pandaigdigang pamilihan o world market kaya hindi rin natin masisisi ang oil players sa ginawa nilang pagtataas. Tawag kasi ng law of supply and demand ang cycle ng pagtaas-baba ng presyo ng gasolina.

Mabuti sana na magamit naman natin ang mga bagong tuklas na alternative fuels para hindi lamang tayo umasa sa mga inaangkat na langis. Mas makakatipid kung gagamit tayo ng alternative energy, renewable pa. Kaya sana tumugon ang mga Kongresista natin sa tawag ng Pangulong Arroyo na magpasa ng panukala para sa alternative energy resources.

The price of oil in the world market already increased as much as $96 per barrel. It could even reach $100 per barrel as per the news. We should really be working on the alternative energy resources so as to balance the increase in oil prices.

Actually, I was not aware that the price of oil in the world market is increasing because the prices of basic commodities are relatively the same. I think the stabilized economy has something to do with this. Otherwise, all of us should have been complaining every time the oil increases.

Gas saving tips

• Load gas at night or when it's cool. The fuel is denser that way.
• Plan your trips
• Don't accelerate too quickly from a start ("jackrabbit start")
• Slow down ahead of time instead of accelerating till the last second
• Get into high gear sooner

Gas prices? we can't do anything about that. But we can save gas!
