Igo raka nag compare way conclusion amew
Bisan asa basta politika ang hisgutan gubot gyud. ^^V
@siodenz: correct me if i am wrong bai.. martial law is for TEMPORARY only. meaning naay panghitabo nga dapat sila moadopt og martial law.
if you would ask hinoon kinsang mga countries nga communista ang ni prosper, aw lahi nsad na nga question..hehe
Should the philippines be under communist rule? nope..
do we need an iron fist (perhaps like SG), YES! sa kagahi sa ulo sa mga pinoy, kinahanglan na jud oi?! Duterte asa naka?!
i tink the real dictator behind the dictator is his wife. (no pun intended)
In addition to this, after WWII all the allied nations gathered together and set up the Bretton-Woods system. This system was to be the financial system that would be used for the world economy. With this system it was decided among the Allies that the US dollar would be the reserve currency.
Bretton Woods system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
With this, the US dollar was then placed in the Gold standard and its value was fixed to the value of gold. However during the war in Vietnam, Nixon removed the US dollar from the Gold standard as the cost of the war was not sustainable with the current system of fixed exchange rates. This occurred around the 1970s.
Remember that after WWII the philippines suffered massive damage to infrastructure and it was given economic aid by the americans for rehabilitation. This was already a debt that was already incurred long before marcos came into power. Marcos wanted more loans for the infrastructures that he was going to build some of which we still have today.
Because of the abolition of the fixed exchange rates our debt has been ballooning due to exchange rate differentials and as well as the interest being paid.
This video explains some of what happened to our economy:
Sir, I'm sorry for your loss.
I've been more than 40 years on this planet so I know what composes the PNP(INP+PC) and what made up the PC(Primitive Constabulary). It's sad to say, the PC men never had the training and discipline like that of the PNP. Yet their authority over society then was quite comprehensive, so prone to abuse... that is why it evolved into the monster that it was decades ago.
Do you know that what you experienced in Tabuelan and Tuburan happened in the cities with the PC playing the Communists' role (role reversal ba) ? They became the "protector" of the businesses. The Chinese community felt the brunt. Nobody dared to question their authority lest be branded as supporter of the enemy. Tingkagol sa prisohan.
They were able to do it in the city... unsa na kaha sa probinsya.
Mater of Fact: The red scare was just that - "A RED SCARE" --> Marcos' damn excuse to retain and remain in power forever!
