ANNOUNCEMENT:

1st meeting for ABA Cebu/Visayas Chapter has just concluded and I'am happy to announce that it has been successful to the point of recruiting more more MORE hobbyists to the fold and expanding the awareness of an existence of a prestigious organization for betta hobbyist here in the Philippines in Asian Betta Alliance ABA... I wish to thank everyone who had attended and hopefully we are on the right track on finally bringing all of the Visayas to the charm of keeping and producing quality Betta Splendens... In the hopes of someday holding a Philippines Grand Betta Show for all the best breeders in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao...

Officers had been elected (I'll post the names as soon as I become an official ABA member) and plans had been made to promote and advertise the hobby which we all had come to be madly addicted to...

Since our Bettas here in the Visayas are not yet as magnanimously magnificent as that of our Northern and Southern brothers, we would hold a Betta display and exhibition in cooperation with ACE of course, probably before the year ends to attract more hobbyist and to raise the awareness that Betta Mania has FINALLY arrived in Cebu!!! Yehhaaa!

We are hoping for the support and help of our fellow ABA members and forumers and the blessing of our ABA pioneers...

I wish to thank the following for joining our first meeting and showing a keen interest and undeniable infatuation for Bettas and I do hope that all would become official ABA members soon...

Sir Oding promised to share to us his 20 pairs ordered from Cambodia, his own bred Bettas, and some Bettas from me, Mike and Nev would also be raffled...^^
