I suggest Jomark (with me as interested observer) takes on the meeting because more than the routine I am thinking it is Jomark who is all set to do his war games. That meeting will be important in the sense it will protect Jomark and his camera (and me too) from getting shot at by an "enemy." I am OK with the meeting but it must have Jomark to decide. In Jomark's "war games" I will just be second camera overall and second unit in shot calls.

Btw, my son Michael is in your team. I hope he will not machine-gun me for whatever reasons.

Den2X is now about ready to call the shots for "100 Days." Once this short is done, Den2X will now earn the prestige of Cebu's first woman film director.

The girl in the lead role has already been tentatively identified. Den2X, Jomark and I will be at Bo's Cafe in Ayala in the afternoon of Sept. 14 to pitch "100 Days" to this girl. Again, once this shoot shall have been done, this girl from USC (I still don't know her name) will have a demo reel which she can present to a big time producer in Manila should she pursue interest in film-acting career. Which means --- as a demo reel --- "100 Days" has to be real good. And, being Den2X's technical director and my adrenalin now getting revved up, "100 Days" will be damn charming good.

But, Den2X, who will be our boy?

We have actually met them and everything went smoothly including the interview of Blongkoy. They were indoctrinated with the principle and the beauty of filmmaking and even became members of the SineBuano (Independent Filmmakers Group).

You have good cinematographic characters in Cristina, Beverly and Kathryn.

Cristina evokes that old provincial feeling --- quaint and virginal. She has that drama and magic of a martyr. This martyr image may now be out of fad. But whether we like it or not, this martyr image still remains one of the most dramatic persona ever.

Beverly can be made up to look and sound bitchy. You can curse her character, even crush her to your feel, but Beverly can work wonders with those large beautiful eyes. Frankly, I can make a whole movie with those eyes alone and let the world die of envy because it has not been stared at.

Kathryn's voice has good timbre. But her looks too are deceiving. It is one look that can transform from eeriness to vamp to angelic blessings.

We already had scripts lined up for them.

it's interesting how things are coming up with Sinebuano. the dreams and aspirations of the group for the cebu independent film makers will hopefully become a reality with the help of all the members.
