one thing to ponder sa cagayan...

why patag is called patag when it is not!! bukid2x mani nga area... ala talamban
why puntod is called puntod when it is not!! pirmi man gali magbaha did2 kay sea level ra sya!! LOL!!!

bai, dili kaayo ko sigurado sa Patag nga case....

Pero sa Puntod nga is like this. Gitawag na siya nga Puntod along time ago kay kung naay dako nga baha like what happened last January, dili ga ka-apil na nga area.

kanang creek from LKK Mall and MUST (Bitan-ag creek?), kung dako kaayo nga baha apil man na ang LKK, MUST, Coca cola, etc ang gaka baha. All the way to Macajalar Bay. Kanang Agora Market reclaim ra na. Mangroove, swamp na sa una pa...High Tide + Baha ma-apektohan from Agora up to LKK Mall even all the way to Maria Reyna Hospital....

Pero ang Telegrapo (Puntod) dili ga lapaw ang baha. Except sa Piaping Puti ug Itom nga area. Kay mangroove, swamp area man na diha sa Piaping Puti ug Itom. Gi re-claim ra man na mao ga baha diha. Piaping Puti ug Itom boundary na man na sa Puntod ug Macabalan. Mao na imong ingon nga ga baha...

Same thing happen in mid-80's baha ang LKK Mall Area, MUST, AGORA, Coca cola, etc. Pero ang Puntod (Telegrapo) walay baha.

Thus, the name Puntod. I'm maybe wrong but that's what I learned from my Lola.

Ako taga CDO pud but now here in Cebu..... I went home last CDO fiesta, lingaw kaayo, murag Cebu na ang nighlife or was it just becoz its fiesta? 2 night gyud mi nagsuroy2 didto hehe..

.. my fave place in cagayan is my town's very own seawall, macabalan's seawall, nyehehehe. it's where when i was a kid, i got "buyagan".

.. most hated place "cogon market" for it's stupid traffic.

not so sure about how much is your budget or how cheap you really want to go.
