yes. it was believed to be the overflowing of the red sea or a body of water near the red sea (not sure where) by the scientists... there are many instances in the bible that relates to science like the first man and woman. (It was stated in the Bible that Adam and Eve were created in a place called "Paradise/Garden" while in fact--- according to science, that garden was the hanging garden of Babylon situated in Mesopotamia--- the cradle of the first mankind. So, it's just like that certain instance. But my point is, science and religion does not need to be compared or what. Because religion explains WHY and science explains HOW.
