Man that last episode was really good. As usual, this one had more plot twists and cliff hangers than the Grand Canyon. This anime is definitely one to get a boxed set for.

That aside, yes. Orenji is AWEsome. Seems like he copied Simon's technique of jumping from one mecha explosion to another, huh? (If you're scratching your head right now, see TTGL the mostest awesomest mecha in the whole wide world).

Not only does he do the Simon-jump, he stands on a floating mech, never mind strong winds, never mind balance, never mind gravity. All while subduing one of the most badass loli's in animedom. And he still has time to strike a pose.

Seriously, I never saw a pose more awesome. All Hail Lelouch!

Lol! xD And he still had the time to shout his name, in a very manly manner. xD He does the Simon-jump, but i refer him as the Kamina of Code Geass (because of his manliness). (Pero way kalupig sa awesomeness and manliness ni Kamina T_T. I still feel sad over what happened sa ep 8. xD)

Anyway, Orenji accepted his new nickname as a sign of his loyalty towards Lulu. And he even built a farm!!!! xDDD It was definitely a good idea of Sunrise to bring him back.

I am still bothered why Sayoko was MIA during the last minutes of the episode. And i wanted to see more of Purin hakushaku (Pudding Earl) and Cecile-nee.. Oh, and Lakshata too.. orz

Here's hoping for an OVA.

The series really peaked at its early stages. People really found an amoral lead character interesting. While Light Yagami got sidetracked and killed off anyone he saw as mildly threatening, Lelouch had a clearer and much more realistic goal. FREEDOM! FOREVER!

But later on, Lelouch was stripped of the original confidence he had at the start of the show. Not necessarily a bad thing, but what drew me to the show was the fury and darkness that surrounded the character. It was almost like seeing Jack Bauer in an anime show. I understand it was necessary for character development, but the changes in the story required me to actually *gasp* stop and use my head.

thanks, but i'd rather dissect the story later, when i'm done watching. My brain can only do so much.

Where I expected action, CG gave me discussion. Where I wanted substance, it gave me cliffhangers, which usually meant nothing as far as plot was concerned.

Entertaining, but too rushed. a lot of events came too suddenly with no buildup whatsoever. not too much foreshadowing. you go "wait, what?!" and rewind. not because you want to, but because you're forced to.

when you try to be cool, you end up being the opposite.

a solid 9 overall, especially because Orange has the most GAR victory pose.

I'd also give it a 9.. or 9+ something. I would've gave it a 10, but there were certain points in R2 that were a bit confusing and weird. But i still love it! It's ups and downs.. xD lol.

yea. i'll prolly go watch soul eater, gundam 00, macross frontier . I still haven't started the latter two. But i usually just focus on one series at a time. You know, focus all my fandom attention to one series. xD

alot of people died in code geass. shirley, rolo, euphy, a bunch of black knights. clovis, the charles, marianne. most of the knights, lol what i love about the series is that so many characters all play a part, and alot do die but it keeps moving. pretty awesome.
