Your investment in mutual funds will depend on the number and value of shares that you own. Meaning kung moubos ang value sa shares, moubos pud gyud imong investment, and vice versa. As long as you hold on to your shares, di gyud na mawala. The only time siguro nga mawala imong investments is if ang NAVPS (price per share) will reach 0 which is very unlikely to happen (not unless kung ang company mismo ang mawala). That is why everybody is encouraged to do long term sa mutual funds para malessen ang risks.

naa gihapon risk sa MF like all investments. However minimized siya kay diversified man daan ang investments.

so even if malunod ang usa ka company, naa pa ang uban standing strong so gamay ra effect sa shares.

the only case ma zero ka is if ang mutual fund company mismo ma zero.

question, asay maayu ani nga style sa pag invest sa MF like for example for 1 year:

a. initial 5k sa first month then 1k every month for 1 year=16k for 1 year; or
b. initial 16k pag start sa first month then wa na dayun dugang for the rest of the year; or
c. invest 16k at the end of the year.
