I can still remember, when I was just a kid, when friends are friends forever and what you said is what you did. I am proud to say that I grew up idolizing GnR's SLASH. Everytime I went home from school, I always drop by outside of Times Square at Junquera not to drink booze but just to watch those Heavy Metal videos and of all those axemen that strucked me most is of course Slash and his Gibson. He combined speed and melody in his style. Although he doesn't have arpeggios and can't experiment on the whammy bar, but he's got the 'Looks that Kill' attitude of what my fave guitarist have in mind.

Enuf of that Slash mania, that was years ago already. It is just recently that I've considered Mr. Ritchie Kotzen as my all-time favorite guitar player. The names such as Vai, Satch, VHalen, Hendrix, Gilbert would easily come into debate as the world renowned greatest axemen in history. But IMO, Kotzen would eat them all raw!
Most of Ritchie's twang usually uses a Telecaster, he's not so much of a Strat guy.
Other personalities who endorses a Tele are: Mick Mars (Motley Crue), the late Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum), Franco (Frank/Inyo) and even Edgar Anciano. Hmmm, nahisgutan na pud diri si Edz. I envy his mirror-top coated Tele. Just like the copy of the one Mick Mars used on the music video of "Same ol' Situation" from Motley Crue.
I've decided to buy the Les Paul and Tele just to please myself. I've been selling Strats and Ibby's here, even though I don't like that kind of guitars. I can relate it to the case of a "Showband". They are playing music that other people like, not the ones that they like.
I am now happy that I am selling items that I like, and it won't matter if it would sell or not.
