y not scratch the air force division? since we don't have air assets that really differentiate them from other divisions(e.g. army,navy and the marines) the army usually used these choppers on their operations..so y not give these choppers to the army...

Then I guess you have to amend the constitution. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Philippine Constitution has in it some article that declares that a nation has to have an air force to protect its territory from internal and external aggression from the air.

as we can see on US police hot pursue situation they always have eagle eye on the suspect - i think that's a vital point for our air force to be strong on urban area...we will not concentrate on acquiring sophisticated jets w/c are very expensive and quite impossible to purchase as of this time...Most of the time during hot pursue the suspect always escape because we lack birds eye view most especially in suburban areas...IMHO

hahaha, i agree to this thread,obviously we are the WEAKIEST among the WEAK in terms of Air Support & to think our current Huey Helicopter a.k.a "The Widow Maker" ma crush lng bisan tabanog ray kontra..weeeeeee paka UWAW rman mo tanan diha sa PAF oi, mas maau pang mangresign mo tanan or magtugot nlng mo ug TABANOG lingaw pamo..
