Spurs wont do excuses. They are still formidable and rock solid without horry n timmy on the floor. parker n manu plus the team chemistry will do.

I've been reviewing the daily top plays this season and Josh Smith and his blocks is present every time Atlanta plays. This kid is going to rule the NBA someday. He's way better than previous shot blockers like Alonzo Mourning and Dikembe Mutombo. He could give Bill Russell and his stats a run some time in his career.

Anyway, big shot by Joe Johnson to save the Hawks from the big come back by the Timberwolves.

    Phoenix beats Washington, 122-107
New Orleans beats Memphis, 118-116 (OT)
    Houston beats New Jersey, 96-89
New York lost to Philadelphia, 90-101

3 out of 4 once again, not bad..

**Steve Nash finished with 19 assists, 3 short of his career high and Phoenix had 42 assists out of 50 field goals. The Suns outscored the Wizards in the third quarter, 40-21. It was the fourth straight game where Steve Nash had 15 or more assists. The Suns won their 5th straight game and went up to 16-4.

**Chris Paul recorded a new career high of 43 points. Paul made the deciding lay-up with 1.8 seconds left in overtime to beat the Grizzlies. Paul hit 5 triples in the game, also a new career high for him. The win was the Hornets' 12th straight overtime win and the 3rd this season, the second against the Grizzlies.

**Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady combined for 49 points in a game where the Rockets never trailed. The Rockets opened up a 28-18 first quarter and the Nets were not able to come back. The 96-89 final score was the closest margin in the game since the opening tip.

**Stephon Marbury returned the to Knicks line-up after attending the funeral of his father. Marbury thought of skipping the game but later decided to play in honor of his father. The Knicks and 76ers will once again meet in New York, I just hope the Knicks won't fall twice in a row against the Sixers.

Golden State spoiled Dwyane Wade's best game since his return. Wade finished with 33 points and dished out 10 assists for Miami who was outscored 38-22 in the fourth quarter by the Warriors.

Baron Davis scored 13 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter while big surprises Stephen Jackson and Monta Ellis added 28 and 21 points apiece.
