great based sa ila g-qoute they can still give you better price, just tel them that the agency of your companion quoted you a lesser price, but ayaw pud barata kaayo. the 20 to 25K sa agency does it include ocean park? disney land? ug daily food nga 100 hk dollar each day plus katong 260 misc? you might want to bring few more thousands for your meals, fare around and shopping money.

    Hi Mr. Ho Chia,

I have a few questions, if dili mi mag agency so on our own adventure ra mi,

    1. Is it better to stay in MongKok or Tsim Shah Tsui area? We are looking for an accomodation where we can still appreciate the urban feel of HK, walk around & shop og barato; while not discounting the safety of the place. kay dali lang raba ko ma-ilad, hehe.

    2. How do we get the visa to cross to shenzhen & macau?

    3. How do we go to Shenzhen & Macau?

    4. Will it still be easy to reach the places listed in package itineraries pag mag on our own ra mi like Victoria Peak, Disneyland, Avenue of Stars, Jewelry Factory, etc etc...? Kuyawan lang mi mawala, hehe...

    Thanks!!

Hi Shaxyra, thanks. Cge I will look for your post. Asa ka nag stay when you went to HK?

Ang recommend sa agencies na barato is Shamrock. As for the hostels, I believe it was recommended in this thread to stay in Dragon Hostel. Do you know of any other hotel nga barato but with a very good llocation?

How about ang padung shenzhen & macau? Asa mi magkuha og visa to cross to those places coming from HK?

i'll post later the hotels na barato.. nakalimut ko as ato nako nalista.. we're planning to go back there man october.. 28-31

Between Shamrock & BP, asa mas maayo? I also read in tripadvisor reviews nga good location kaayo ang shamrock but gamay lang nuon kuno ang rooms. Naka-butang lang nuon nga ang hotel class sa Shamrock is 1-star, hehehe... if there is such thing.

So would you suggest na kung within HK, mag on our own mi but the tours to shenzhen & macau, we buy a package daan?

Mongkok and tsim is near raman mura in one long stretch, pag mrt lang dili gyud ka mawala. Tsim kay upper end shops man dha, but naa pud barato. kung cheap gyud pang tiange style go for mongkok.

going to ocean park sakay mrt, naug sa admiral station naay booth didto for ticket sa ocean park and bus ticket as well, sakay dayun ka dha pud padong ocean park, sayun ra kaayo.

kung disney, mao pud, sakay mrt, naay interchange nga manaug ka para masakay sa disney inspired mrt going directly sa disney land, didto ka palit ticket enjoy for the day and back you take the same MRT to were you are staying. very easy lang usahay mahadluk manta but convenient kaayo ang tansportation didto.

as to macao, haven't gone there, but i think naay fierry ga service ana, ug from time to time magpromo na cla, ask the hotel lang, they know how.

sa shengzen dili man lisud mokuha visa, on you way before mo macross didito mo kuha mga 45mins cguro, pay kalang sa visa, then adto kana.

sayun lang to get around HK, dili gyud ta mawala, just always have the address kung asa ka nagstay and the nearest MRT station sa imong place, that's it.
