naa naman koy pc recording set up sa balay. behringer1622F xenyx mixer, cooledit pro2, behringer m16 monitor. acoustic guitar solo ang akong girecord.pero di man ko hanas mo mix ug pa effects and mastering.asa ta nga studio pwede ana.kanang magdala lang ko ug cooleditpro2 na raw file didto for editing.

it does sound ok, pero flat ra kau para nako ok ang mixing for like another thing but not an album. or you can do it on your own with a pc

hmmm... if you have good musicians and have planned pre-production to a "T" then, i guess you guys should be spending around 2-3000p including mixing..

some bands can spend less coz they opt for lesser guitar takes and don't scrutinize too much on vocal production.. If you really take your time, 2-3k would be reasonable.. Both Bakyard and Zzubu charge P450 per/hr for tracking/mixing/mastering..

With regard to comparing outputs of both studios as against Home PC/Studio Set ups, of course these studios are far better options.. Take this into consideration: All of Urbandub's albums were recorded at Backyard, as well as a couple of albums from Slapshock and Agaw Agimat. As far as Zzubu is concerned, latest albums from Ambassadors as well as soon to be released albums of CDMC, Cattski, Aggressive Audio are currently being completed and from what i've heard so far, They SOUND REALLY GREAT!!

If you want to do metal, bakyard with Mikmik as your engineer would be the way to go.. But zzubu's great as well..

By the way, Bakyard does sonar and Zzubu uses Vegas, FYI..

izotope is simple to use, you can use it to capture an eq setting of another song then use that EQ setting for your own songs, but i wouldnt recommend it na abi na capture na mao na eq setting gamitun, mahuman nimu record, send each channel to a separate bus para gamitun nimu for post effects and compression, both sonar and protools are good DAW's. pero tungod naa na VST and AU bridge wrapper maka share naka ug plug-ins. When mixing just get the overall sound balance ra na FLAT ra gawas daun eq it with IZotope or Wave's Linear Phase multiband eq or any eq imu gamitun.

Sa drums if metal or pop sometimes ako e trigger using a software DRUMAGOG, recording and mixing is easy if you want to learn it. E download rapud tanan sa torrent.

For cleaning up guitars after recording it. use waves filter to remove hisss/white noise. daun IZOTOPE TRash(Guitar AMp Simulator) to compress the overall signal and choice of cabinets pud
